Everyone else noticed the Ranks from Admiral and Captain are messed up ? Here are a few pictures that shows it.

Yeah i know, but in Mass Effect 2 the dialogue says ''Captain Anderson'' and Anderson told you in game he is Admiral by now. Why does he still have the Captain rank on his uniform ? or are 3 stripes Admiral and is the Mass Effect 1 game totally wrong ?

3 more Admirals on the Normandy SR1......this is retarted......if there are 3 admirals on board then Shepard is 4th in command....lol

That's what you call not bothering to get into to much detail because there are more important things to make in the game then worry about all of the rank insignias.

I noticed this the first time I played the first game. Seeing Admiral Anderson wearing his same uniform from ME1 was tacky. Its unfortunate that no one at BioWare caught these details and it is the little things like this that can make or break a game on how it draws you in to its world.

Everything is important in a game.. Its only based on the dedication of the design team to get it right.. Everything must be right- if you worked somewhere your boss wants you to do your job correctly, yes? Then the only reason for the things left out in this game is apparent. Sheer laziness. Hire me hahaha.

Not much detail ? did you ever saw a Sergeant in the army using the Major or General uniform ?

The details are important yes, but really the only people that noticed it are the people that are anal about it. I've played lot's of military shooters and the like and it never dawned on me that the ranks were messed up on the uniforms. It's just not something I paid much attention to simply because it's a sci fi world, and I don't know what the uniforms of ranked officials are supposed to look like.



If I was playing Call of Duty and I saw a 2 star General with 6 stars or something ridiculous, then I would notice. But it's Mass Effect and I've played it tons of times, never registered to me that the ranks could be wrong. Therefore, not really that important in the grand scheme of things. So the OP being the 1% that noticed, was overlooked.

It's not that important of an issue. Still, there's probably a mod or something to fix it.
