I am playing the Human Noble origin for the second time but this time the game didn't give me the chance to name the dog... is it maybe because I use the Dog-mod that includes him as the fifth companion???



I always liked that you get to name your dog... I always called mine Fletcher, like the one I have in real life.

Named the dog Kain

Inspired by an old dog of mine who died a few years back that was a barking maniac... Turned out the same in the game in the camp... constant barking.... ahh!

No, the extra dog slot mod doesn't cause that - I have it, and can name my dog quite normally.

It may be some other mod you have, or then it was just a temporary glitch, and reloading an earlier save and replaying the sequence would have fixed it.

I already finished the Highever castle and now I am at Ostagar, is there no way to name the dog later... some kind of a mod or similar?

I had this same issue on my HN. Try unsummoning and resummoning Dog using the whistle, the naming box should pop up when you resummon him.

I recently started a Robin Hood-inspired HN Rogue. Named the dog LittleJohn (shame you can't add spaces in the name though)..

Since I am a big nerd, I name my dog after the various Deadra lords in Oblivion.

WelI once I called my dog <3Romeo and my warden Juliette. <3

Then other  times I called him Storm or Sirwoofalot. But my favourite is Romeo as he is such a honey!
