Of all the things you have seen people post they wanted for ME3, which one would piss you off the most if it came true?

fail, Mass effect is a TPS
It's a role playing game even if I shoot people. Just because it has guns it doesn't make it a TPS.
By your logic, if Shepard and the rest had swords or spells, it would be RPG, because there are no guns.
UT can be turned in TPS.
bah ME2 isnt even an RPG anymore, it's just a shooter where you can make desicions.
and I called fail on your comment because you called mass effect an FPS
You evidentally don't understand what an RPG is, then.
you honestly think that ME2 is an RPG?
this is like saying that guitar hero teaches you how to play a guitar
please compare ME1 and ME2 and then tell me distinct differences

You don't want RPG elements, you want stat building and loot collecting and Endless Monster Grinding with "hours of travel of open-world space". In otherwords, you want Final Fantasy: Mass Effect.

After reading through the thread, I'm gonna throw oot a blanketagreement with everything being said; You've all mentioned things I don't wanna see, and I'm too lazy to be any more clear than that [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie] (other than No new squaddies)
Also, I do not want to see further dilution of the game's RPG elements; While I would LOVE "A spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic", I'm satisfied with the game as it is.
(satisfied; not happy or ecstatic or overjoyed, so there is room for improvement IMO)
Agreed with all of this.
I wouldnt be pissed but I would just think: "lame" if they unmasked Tali...
Couple more squaddies plus ME1 squaddies and ME2 squaddies is what I'm expecting.
I have a craving for a squad with 5 members.... doubt I'll get it and it will prolly ****** many people off.

I would be very disappointed if ME3 became All About Tali/Garrus/Whoever just because those characters are popular. I know quite enough about the Migrant Fleet already, thank you. If anything the writers should expand upon the 'unpopular' characters like Jacob, maybe having a richer backstory would make the lackluster characters more appealing.
I really had more Tali than I wanted in ME2, and it just felt shoehorned in (really, why couldn't there have been some other quarian at Freedom's Progress?). I get that it's fanservice, and the Talimancers are the most vocal contingent of fans. I don't mind fanservice really, it is optional after all, but when certain characters are central to the mission, and other characters can be ignored altogether (Thane/Samara/Zaeed/Kasumi), it seems a bit unbalanced to me. Yes, you can choose to not recruit Tali after Horizon, but you would still see her on Freedom's Progress regardless. Not everyone wants it to be the Tali Show, regardless of how vocal her admirers are.
I'm not about to pee pee on the Talimancers but it was only after I got on these forums that I thought twice about her appeal... I am a Samara/Liara fan (i know they are not even similar), with Jack, Kasumi, Ash, Wrex and Thane coming in next.
Tali, Jacob and Miranda come next. I find Garrus's love advances disturbing and I had him killed off in my first play though.
All the ME2 love scenes look creepy to me besides Jacks.
I would certainly prefer Tali's role was no more and no less than any squaddy unless she was a love interest.

Things that would bug me.
-Quarians. Seriously. I avoid as many things involving them as possible in subsequent playthroughs because I'm sick of the entire race furiously beating off to how awesome Tali is. It's worse than her fan-thread. If she wasn't a borderline worthless squad member (none of her powers are useful, baseline weapons), I'd call her a total Mary Sue. The Quarian missions actually made me hate my favorite character from the first game. And Talimancers to a lesser extent.
-The stupid costumes that all our characters were forced into instead of having them wear armor. Why does every single one of them but Garrus, Grunt, Zaaed, and Tali look like strippers for various deviant fetishes?
-Making it sexier. For everybody crying about the lack of homosexual relationships and no nipples, the game still managed to have way too much sex in it. How does that work?
-No Mordin
-Praetorians, **** you.
There's some truth to your comments about Quarians and Tali... I like them less in ME2, partly because of the Talimancers.
I didnt know people were whinging about lack of homosexual relationships and not showing nipples, I'd have to agree with you - it's already pretty sexed up as it is.
More praetorians and paetorian variants is fine by me.

For one, Thane's a highly trained assassin, while Kolyat is...well... not.
Also, people seem to be forgetting that the entire POINT of Thane's loyalty mission was to prevent Kolyat from becoming a killer. Recruiting him is the exact opposite of what his father wants for him, and therefore would not be "honoring his memory" like so many people seem to think.
Really, I'm hoping they don't kill off Thane period. I hope he gets cured in ME3.
other than that, adding new squad members, making it an mmo, Co-Op, etc.

It is an RPG. Just because it has less fiddly bits than ME1 doesn't mean its any less of an RPG.Masticetobbacco wrote...
