The Dragon Age installation had no difficulties, however after pressing play the screen where morrigan's face pops up freezes everything. I will be waiting for the picture to change but nothing happens, after clicking the mouse the computer beeps and ctrl alt delete wont work. I have to manually turn the laptop off because of it's frozen state, there was someone else on here who has the same laptop & problem that i have but no one responded to him; that's why i made a new thread. In hopes that someone will help me solve this frustrating problem.
I have tried just about everything except installing windows 7 & buying another copy of Dragon Age.

Everything on my not even a year old laptop is updated, i have also tried re-installing the whole discs & have spent countless hours on forms trying different procedures but haven't found the solution.
I also have Dragon Age Awakening which i installed crossing fingers that maybe that would fix the problem, but no..
please please help, i am having dragon age withdrawals since i first tried the game on xbox..

Wrong forum.

And laptops...*sighs* why does everyone try to play games on laptops.

Best of luck...*year old laptop* coupd be anything so I wont venture to guess what you have in it or what the problem may be.
