whats your take on the four shotguns?(and other guns?)

Don't know why you'd want a shotgun on an Adept. Shotguns work great on Vanguards (charge), Infiltrators (cloak), Soldiers (AR supersprinting) and Assault Sentinel (Assault Armour). Maybe it could work for Engineers with Drone and Hack/Dominate distracting the enemies. Adepts don't seem to have any way of making the approach though...

ME2 shotguns do so much more damage it's hilarious (or rather, the enemies just take more damage without their Godmode). An ME2 shotgun at mid range, even with the much greater spread, is as effective as an ME1 shotgun.

Note: I don't think these enemies even activated Immunity, and it still takes 4 shots to kill them at semi-close range.

Adepts have pull, so a shotgun might be useful for cleanup. Though, I haven't played adept yet, so I was just speculating.

And for ME1, the shotguns seemed to have more range vs spread in ME2. Which is why I find that they belong to more specialized classes in ME2. In ME1, the shotgun was the primary weapon on my soldier, in ME2 it was a combination of the AR and sniper rifle.
