This of course begs the question, if he was unconscious and dumped at a random place by enemies, who took him to the hospital? It's true that people have survived gunshot wounds to the head, but not without immediate medical attention.

Zaeed doesn't need medical attention. His braincells know better than to fail him and got back in position themselves.

Or he just got up and operated on his own head right there using rage as his anesthetic.

Hey everyone, Zaeed is currently duking it out with Tali in the Championship round of the Tournament of Champions.  You can find it here: social.bioware.com/1627547/polls/5455/

Perhaps the mercs that shot him were suddenly distracted? Perhaps mercs still loyal to Zaeed intervened just before the shot? Mercs gun aiming the back of Zaeeds head/neck moved bit to side and it missed brains with just few millimeters, but exit-wound blew right side of his face to hell? Thats only possible theory that I can think of that would allow Zaeed live. Other was that those mercs where complete idiots with bad aim and did not make sure he was dead.

In Mass Effect 3 does anyone feel there will be a Zaeed mission where you meet some of the people you saved and they help you hunt vido.

But if your a heartless B"£$d and leave them to die, one of the survivors tries to kill you?

I havn't bothered getting Kasumi,

Not a fan of Zaeed then?

I would laugh if they did add it in if you got Zaeed on your team still just to ****** you off

I admit I dislike as well he is basically Shepherd but a criminal with inferno grenade which I can never use cause I always save the hostages cause im a nice guy. It also has benefits in the long run.

What? I am like Zaeed's biggest fan. Why would I support him in my sig if I didn't like him? Your idea is ridiculous though. If you let Vido go then once you leave he comes back and personally kills the workers for revenge. And how is Zaeed a criminal? Does he steal or murder innocents?

Why would Vido kill the workers himself? They're his slaves, that would make him lose money.

Ok maybe not kill them but my point is these dumb average joes will not have the resources to help you hunt Vido and will probably be under his control again after you leave.

Oh sure. I think it'd be dumb too. If they were badass enough to help you hunt down Vido how did they end up getting captured by slavers in the first place, yeah?

Why do people keep thinking it's a given the Normandy can go after the fleeing Vido? He's the leader of the Blue Suns! You think he flies around the galaxy in a little shuttle? Of course he'll have his ship nearby, one that's probably bigger and more well-armed than the Normandy.

Well for a starters he founded the Blue suns a criminal organisation, then became a mercenary (Illegal?). Also does not care if slaves get killed but if you take it into account hes probably caused Vido a severe inconvenience in that he will now have to capture more slaves and find somewhere else as a base or whatever he was doing there.

I don't really care about the character much, but he has grown on me a bit given his history with various characters and they also give good dialogue in these scenes (Merc Base Omega).

Mercenaries are not automatically criminals. Mercenaries are private soldiers. Private soldier does not equate criminal. Jacob is a mercenary as he is paid to be a soldier by a private corporation. Wrex was a mercenary prior to joining Shepard's crew. Wrex and Zaeed are also bounty hunters. Bounties are not normally paid for individuals who have not committed a crime.

The Blue Suns were started as a protection organization and took a turn for the criminal when Vido started hiring Batarian terrorists which lead to his disagreement with and attempted murder of Zaeed.

Zaeed is not a saint by any means but really no one on the squad is. We have an assassin, three mercenaries, two vigilantes, a thief, a krogan grown from the genetic material of a cruel and hated warlord, a powerful yet troubled biotic, a scientist who worked on a morally questionable project, a geth, and someone who requests that you commit perjury and suppression of evidence during a trial.

All of those people have done both good and bad.

Zaeed is in my opinion one of the must underrated characters. I suppose not everybody feels comfortable around a guy who is just as badass as Shepard.

It took four billion credits worth of medical tech to save Shepard's life. Zaeed was just too damn stubborn to die after taking a bullet to the head.

Zaeed is awesome, no doubt.

He's got some good lines but sometimes he rambles and I wish I could skip that specific dialogue. But I can't so I just sit at the trash compactor making little space cubes to shoot outside while he goes on and on...

Same here. Kind of like the Payback movie (Mel Gibson's second best and last good role IMO).

You didn't like Edge of Darkness? The TV version was miles better but Mel did a good job filling Bob Peck's shoes.

Also Signs was decent minus the religious preaching.
