I never cared for Zaeed and his long-winded stories in the cargo bay until I actually used him as a full-time squadmate. Now I like him. He's great to have in combat. "Sit down!" is one of my favorite bits of combat banter (second only to "Flammable! Or inflammable! Forget which! Doesn't matter!"). And he always has something cute to say during missions when the squad encounters Blue Suns mercs. I'm still not all that fond of his long-winded stories though.

I admit hes not the worst character, that honour goes to that "vile racist **** Ashley" Who I shamefully rescued in ME1.
I don't really like his loyalty mission that much to be quite honest, He does have good dialogue and is good on missions except insanity. But to be fair none of the squad were particularly useful.
