Hey folks, I just have a question about something that's been bothering me for the majority of the day. I have created an NPC, have successfully placed him in game and provided him with a conversation. What I am wondering is how to remove the annoying Robobrad voice that has been put as a placeholder for VO while conserving the lip syncing and the expressions. I've tried deleting the .fev and .fsb files for the conversation but it doesn't to be doing the trick.
I know for a fact that its possible to remove the placeholder VO but I'm just not sure how to go about it. Any ideas?
Question regarding conversations

When you say preserve the lop syncing and expression, do you mean actually have it play during the convo without the voice, or just don't erase what was generated? At any rate, I haven't messed with it, but perhaps that "No VO is used in this line" (don't quote me on the actual name, not in front of the toolset at the moment) checkbox that is available on each NPC node?

You are exactly right, I want to have the lips move during the conversation without the placeholder voice. Anyway, I will look into your suggestion when I get home. Thanks for helping out.

You should consider that when lines are lip-synched, the text version of the line does not appear on-screen until the actor has finished speaking the line (unless there is a way to override this?). If your final plan is to have a mod with no VO (robobrad or other) but with lip-sync, players will be forced to stare at the actor while he 'speaks' the line before they can read what he actually just said...

Yea, thank you. I am prepared for that criticism. Finding a decent voice actor that is willing to put in a lot of time for something that won't give them any pay is difficult. Just look at the Ser Gilmore companion mod. Its not that Immortality is lazy, its the fact that it is very difficult to get a quality VO, especially if its something that needs so much dedication like a companion.
Anyway, I will see if what Challseus suggested works once I get home. I will give an update later with the results.
