I dont know why but one of the reasons I like quarans better is because they have a Marine Corps.

I can relate to them more.

Where is the Salarian option?

Well since there isn't one I'll go with Asari. Sorry Quarians you unforgiving machine people, not seeing your face/body and the whole Geth thing are major turn offs. Tell ya what, you make friendly with the Geth and fix your medical problems with actual medicine and you may be better than Asari.

Quarians. At least you know they are women instead of getting the "mono gendered" treatment.

Of course on the other hand, you know you can have offspring with an asari, it's not yet confirmed wheather a human and a quarian can produce offspring of thier own. I mean I guess they could considering Shepard and Tali can succesfully have sex.

Yes but would their children be fertile or can Quarians get pregnant from other speicies? We are unsure and probably don't want to know what the children would look like.

Asari. Quarians remind me of Juhani from KotOR... they are annoying. Specially Tali.

Asari if I had to pick I guess but I'd go neither if it was an option. Quarians look like chickens in space suits.

Uhh... neither. I'm indifferent towards both species.

Nor have I found a Quarian character I like once I look deeper than an inch into the character. I still like Salarians better.

I like Liara, I like Samara, I like Aria. They just don't match up to how much I like various other alien characters, in this case; Tali.

I definitely think they could have done better on the Asari as a race. As individuals, they've got good characters. As a race, they were far too Mary Sue for me, far too much.

I think it's hard to find a "Mary Sue" asari in ME2 (maybe Shiala)

Tali isn't a damsel in distress character. Every time (which is only twice) you rescue her she had already been fighting. Liara was just stuck in some bubble, and she didn't help you fight the Krogan and Geth. And if you want raw numbers, you save Ashley more than anyone else.

The Quarians are treated poorly throughout the galaxy. The fact that they're in bad situations outside of the Flotilla is to exemplify this, that they are basically the pariahs of the Milky Way.

Agreed. Their history and presence is just boring at best and patronizing at worst.

She doesn't fight on Haestrom, her team is fighting. But you're right, Liara has her damsel of distress moment as well.

It's just every single quarian (I forgot the merchant on Omega)....
I think a quarian villain would help.
