Why the hell is pat.one here? He's a pretty retarded troll, considering all things.
And quarians. Not just because I like quarians (before it was cool too!), but because I hate asari. They're nothing but a ridiculous species of walking fanservicey, bland nerd fantasies. This is not helped by the fact their method of reproduction makes no sense and their culture is bland as hell and I'm still confused the FRAK out of how they managed to sustain themselves as a population when asari typically live a thousand years. Would they not all die from starvation and overpopulation?
Oh I will LOVE ripping your post a new one
1. Using retarded as an insult is pretty immature and uncreative
2. Well isn't Tali fanservice seeing as everyone loved her in the first game and was put in a more major role for the fans?
3. Who do you think this game was aimed at? Teenage girls? It is going to be nerdy and there will be hot wome-err Asari. This game isn't meant to be macho if it was there wouldn't be any coversation choices or character plot, aka Call of Duty.
4. It's called fiction
1. Obviously you've never seen any of his previous posts. He was
banned, for god's sake.
2. BioWare didn't expect anyone to love Tali that much. She was never fanservice. How
was she fanservice? Because people fell in love with her? Couldn't I argue that Bastila was fanservice because of her legions of fans? Hell, BW scrapped a romance tree for her because they didn't think anyone would see past the chicken legs.
3. Good job with the strawman. That reasoning makes no sense. It doesn't matter who the game was aimed at, because obviously BioWare was pandering to the lowest common denominator 'OMG HAWT LESBIAN ALIEN SEX' thing. Hell, that entire argument makes no sense! First you start talking about 'teenage girls' than you move onto 'it's not macho'. Why does something that's nerdy supposed to automatically mean 'sexy aliens'? Is it some weird criteria? And then people wonder why us nerds are constantly associated as lifeless, basement-dwelling sex-starved virgins that search the internet for Star Trek rule 34.
4. Oh no, the catch-all cop-out argument. Who cares, it's just 'fiction' after all. Why bother with the huge exposition then? Why doesn't BioWare just throw everything into the game and magic away all their explanations with 'it's just fiction, make up your own damn reason!'.
I understand why BioWare did it, partly because of again, ridiculous pandering but also for a callback to Ye Olde green-skinned alien babes that Captain James T. Kirk had his constant conquests over and would affirm his status as a space-pimp, but the asari as a race is just ridiculous.
And protip: don't claim to 'rip my post a new one' when you fail to do so and rather resort to a variety of logical fallacies.
