Have you ever seen me complain about the free dlc?  No, because I have never done so, I have commented on the quality of the paid dlc only, which I am indeed entitled to do so.  They may say they are making more story dlc but as far as I have seen they have only been making itempacks and appearance packs, and so my opinion is valid.

You DON'T do any of those things either, so tell me how you know I am absolutely wrong?  I have based my opinion on what they have released so far, and the response they have got, tell me why should a company released something good when they can sell lots of piddly things for greater profits?  Its ****ing capitalism 101 mate, but hey you had to prop your argument up with a personal attack on me, so that invalidates anything you had to say.

Actually, the issue of DLC pricing/standardization is a different issue altogether, and one I would support fully. Too bad that's not the proposition being made here.


Assuming that's the issue you're talking about. Any "issue" I see here is so convoluted by crying and people wanting a reason to **** it's hard to define any "issue" anymore.

Yeah, you don't get irony and yes you did do a personal attack, semantics don't work mate your post was full of offensive language especially since the post you were replying to had no offensive language and was not even directed at you, so I just don't get what your issue was.  You are everything that is wrong with these forums, I'm off now goodbye.

I was referring to the DLC pricing issue of this particular armor pack, namely the issue that Inferno armor owners pay more for the helmets. It seems to me you think that's an insignificant issue and not something to complain about yet you complain that people are complaining about it.

Nothing made me think you were 'on my side', I was just telling you that you were obviously wasting your own time on him, since his response to you was pretty much a troll response, looking for some way to take your post and 'win' over you, and his responses to most people have been deliberately aggressive.  And I called you mate as that is what I tend to call people when I'm talking to them, common in the UK.

As long as this DLC model is successful, it will remain. So while indeed no one has to pay for reskins and models that anyone with the tools and skills could throw together within a day or two, the time and resources can not be spent on development of some proper content. I think that's the reason why some people are angry, and are trying to convince others that they should not purchase the DLCs, so that the current DLC model may stop to be profitable, and proper content might be developed instead. I don't think arguments will help there though, but I commend the attempts.

I wonder what will happen on the forums when ME2:GOTY Edition is released at $40 with all of the non-CN DLC?

This will be small potatoes once that happens.

Value for money aside, the problem with sporadic 'thin' DLC seems to me that it doesn't really provide enough reason to keep a game installed on your hard drive.

Is that a real concern (edit) for most gamers? I'm running on a miserable old 80 gig drive so I have to pay attention to these things, but most gamers have much bigger ones these days. Or are you talking consoles?

I doubt that would happen, but we have seen some companies do it as stand alone retail packs.

We finally get a Bioware post in here that does nothing but criticize the fans and fails to address the issue at hand. The only way for a certain group of people to acquire the two new Helms is to pay for something they already own.
