New DLC is bad value for me

It costs two bucks because two bucks is a nice low price. Not because the content is actually worth it. Just compare it to what the game cost, even to what kasumi cost. It has a crap quality/price ratio. But still people buy it because their brain gets all excited like "OOOH look, new DLC for JUST 2 BUCKS". It's as if there's some switch that turns off people's logical thinking whenever something costs just 2 bucks.
I am dissapoint

Paying 2 dollars for items to help beat a game most have played and beaten at least 6 times or more. That's insanity. ME2 is turning into the sims. No wonder America has a debt crisis when you blow your money on things you don't need. It's 2 dollars, but it's 2 dollars less you have to spend on anything useful. EA is rich because they can convince tens of thousands to spend 2 dollars on something useless, and in the case of the inferno armor recycled, and our willingness to buy that is the reason most of us are not rich..
Also, I think the reason why they (the game industry in general) keep putting out these kinds of DLC is because enough people are willing to pay for it. Of course we are going to see more of this if they keep get away with it. We have to take a stand at some point, imho, if we want the industry to go back onto a more constructive path.
Ya you can make a quick buck from people who just click and buy in "support" of a company or just blindly doing it without looking at what they are getting.

I hate all special armors because they are full suits with all parts including helmet. For example: when I started the game and my second mission after escaping from facility was checking some missing colony with Miranda and Jacob, I went into some builiding and there was Tali with some quarians, I was wearing Collectors armor at that moment, and Tali looked at me and she sad:
- Shepard, is that you? (Or something like that)
THIS IS SO FREAKIN ANNOYING, how would she even know that was me? I was looking like one of the Collectors, I mean like WTF?
Thats why I hate these super special dlc armors.

As it turns out I still hate it (more so than ever). IMO developers should go back to expansion packs instead of this crap.

Yup, I would take an expansion pack over DLCs anytime.

Although if this version of the inferno has a helmet toggle it'd probably sell a bunkload more ;E

No, it's not. The Inferno armor is trash and looks stupid.
Oblivion Horse Armor was less retarded than this.
Your post completely jumped the shark at the end. This isn't even close to as stupid as the horse armor pack. It might not be a good deal, but it's still not the terrible horse armor.
You're right, at least the Horse Armor involved a quest... kind of. Instead of magically appearing in your bedroom.
Agree. The horse armor didn't magically appear in your room, in Mythic Dawn colors, with Mehrunes Dagon's logo all over it. I got the horse armor bundled on the disc with the other dlcs. I used it once to get some screenshots, then uninstalled it.
I did, however, find the horse armor far more useful than the Cerberus armor, in Cerberus colors, with Cerberus logos on it. My sole survivor Shep never touched either the armor or the clothing. Even before I found out about the helmet thing. Come to think of it, I never used the Dragon Age armor crossover suit in ME2 either. Companions wore it in DA:O. Wasn't even that useful in ME2 since everyone except Shepard can go out into any conditions with regular street clothing and a simple breathing mask. Why does Shep need a helmet anyway? Or armor? Oh well.
sarcasm/ I am waiting and saving my cash for EA's release of the IKEA furniture pack. I mean, the chance to add lamps, a new bed, carpeting, maybe an automatic fish feeder, all with IKEA logos? It would be soooo worth it. /sarcasm Yes, I think it will happen. Ask the Sims players. Am I going to bother with this? No. If an expansion comes along and the reviews here on the forums are good, then maybe. Other than that, no. I'm not playing the Sims.

So we gave you free Firewalker/Hammerhead, gave you more story with Kasumi and now have a completely optional DLC of armor, but we have turned into the bad guys all of a sudden?
*sigh*
You gave gamers the Firewalker/Hammerhead DLC? Funny as it looked like it was intended to be free on Cerberus network, unless you are saying that there were talks to charge for it. The general concensus was the Firewalker was on the level of a demo and just a precursor to better missions that would be pay2play.
You gave more story with Kasumi? Well from the youtubes videos the story given is completely on par with several of the shorter loyalty missions other characters have, and the general lack of an actual recruitment mission. At best there was a peakAboo at what Earth could be like. You are sounding like you are trying to justifiy the small amount of content actually offered with the fact it covers some of the things fans asked for. Nice, thw B/W modelers got a chance to incorporate Michelangelo's David into a game; that alone is worth 3 dollars.
It isn't NOW that people are calling you out about this;Alternate Appearance Pack 1 was the start for most of it. Some Bioware fans were operating under the incorrect assumption that the promise of free content on Cerberus Network would mean a flow of small tiny DLC. The other incorrect assumption was that Bioware learned anything from ME1 and that DLC, the acclaim people sing about BDtS and the sorrow people cry about Pinnacle Station.
To clear up assumptions Bioware still has not learned what customers want or will pay for in regards to Mass Effect DLC. Open up XboxLive and look at the offerings from Borderlands, FO3, GTAIV, and to a lesser extent one of your own games Dragon Age.

Bioware, don't listen to the naysayers! There are those of us who enjoy your products and respect you for the time that you guys put in to push them out and for the continued support you guys always provide for your games.

I have the armor already, and I have plenty of helmets to choose from, most I don't wear because they cover the face too much. I spend a good deal of time on the face just to have it covered 50+% of the time, no thanks.
Maybe next DLC will have some story, and that I will buy. But if more people don't stop buying these just because, then they will just keep pukin out crap.

The fixed Archangel armor already came out. The helmet toggle is not something that can be made a patch (look up gaming fixes). The Liara DLC is coming out pretty soon. This DLC only costs 2 bucks. I said what I had to say.

The helmet toggle is most certainly something that could be made into a patch (easily, in fact, as far as I can tell) - if Bioware actually decided to do it, at least. But I somehow doubt they would be willing to put in the effort unless they can charge $2 for it.
