I'm all for new dlc, but those "head coverings" are ugly. This will probably be the first time I don't purchase dlc.

I thought everyone was crying about helmets that can't be toggled off so why would Bioware think we want visors and ugly head pieces to cover up Shepard's face?

I don't know if they're in touch with the fanbase anymore.

It does seem like an odd choice.  I like the look of the +10% headshot visor; but anything more obstructive isn't my taste.  Honestly I'd like to see some less noticeable headgear for players who don't want to wear a helmet; but don't want to take a stat penalty by not equipping one.

Seriously, has anyone ever mentioned like a silenced sub machine gun for the players favoring stealth and the infiltrator class. The locust with a silencer on it would be sick.

Feedback?

Mass Effect 2 doesn't have actual stealth elements... What kind of benefit do you think a Silenced SMG would bring?

The only possibility I could think of would be a bonus to tactical cloak length when firing the SMG full auto. So the act of firing your weapon wouldn't knock you out of cloak so fast. Is that a good idea? I don't know, but it's the only purpose I can imagine it serving. Something like that would fit well in one of a series of "class packs" so to speak. Weapons and armor that are meant to benefit specific classes, an Infiltrator pack, a Soldier pack, etc.

I think that's a great idea but some part of me doubts Bioware has even considered such a thing and is preoccupied making arguably poorly designed headgear.

I own the Collector's edition and I have every piece of DLC except for the Incisor and frankly I don't care if they start selling any more of the DLC I already own and I wouldn't have had an issue with the Inferno Armor if it wasn't packed in with other DLC I don't have.

In the future I just hope they don't include DLC people already own packed in with new DLC.

I only need the incisor rifle as well but releasing the inferno armor with this dlc is not all bad.. at least we know now that they are in fact releasing dlc that was previously only available to purchasers of the various editions of the game.

just trying to shine a small light in the darkness...

I'm not going to lie: if I was in EA's head office right now, I'd systematically disembowel every single person in it, then urinate and defecate on them as they bled out.

This is particularly disturbing.

Anyway, thank you Bioware! I did not have Inferno Armor and was not going to pay $20+ on ebay, so paying $2 for that and a couple helmets is awesome for me. Also, pleaspleasePLEASE release Incisor on CN or as paid DLC.

Well, this is the first ME or ME2 DLC I won't be buying. No use for the extra armours (or helmets) when there's no helmet toggle. I certainly hope this wasn't the "exciting" DLC announcement for this week... Sorry to sound so negative. I just can't help feeling disappointed.

If they release a story/mission based pay per dlc and I have points left over I might pick it up, but since there's nada left to do in ME2 I don't see the point atm.

Why is it that every time I see someone from Bioware post 'We're listening to you guys' what I hear in my head is "Suckers .. I can't believe you fell for that .. -again-."

I think we should create a poll as to what else is on their list of things to ****** people off. I got money on them releasing the Firewalker Hammerhead tank so that those who bought the game used and didn't get the Cerberus network can get it if they want. But then they'll bundle it with the Incisor and Blackstorm.

What I'm looking for at this point, is something worthy of a new play-through. This is not, so I won't buy it. No big deal.

Why were so many expeting some great expansion pack?  E3 is just short while away and I'd almost bet my xbox and all my saved data within that a big expansionsion pack will come out then.  I for one am happy with the armor I have and the +10% headshot headgear I have so I likely wont buy this DLC but many will and I'm sure it'll be put to good use by many.  Enjoy.

Does anybody have an idea what time is it in Canada right now

Other than the fact Canada is so large it covers 6 time zones? http://www.timetempe...time_zone.shtml

Bioware is based out of Edmonton Alberta... In the MST time zone.

Just one more thing:

I thought about why item DLC make me think twice before buying them. And apperently I got it - once you buy them, you get them directly to you inventory. There is no effort to get it. These items will have more value in the game if you had to find or buy them in the game like SMG in Katsumi DLC. Otherwise they disbalance the game.

As an example: I wrote already that I own any possible ME2 DLC, thus when I start playing already in the intro I have several powerfull weapons and armors. So after that I have little reasons to buy anything new and loyal colours for my team is also not so important because I get much better brand new outfits for half (-ish) of the crew.

It's like "presents pack" DLC in DA:O. When you can max out relationship with your crew right in the first second for FREE and take away any meaning of caring for NPC or talking to them. *you killed someone they cared for and get -20 reputation? No problem, give them a cake and get it back to 100*

Bottom line: if items DLC is not integrated in the game, then they ruin already weak storry line of ME2.

More armor/appearances, huh? I'd wait longer and pay more for more quests or side mission...also much rather waste my 'points' on some silly, equally useless prop for my avatar.

Honestly I was expecting the Incisor sniper rifle, and a new alternative appearance pack (I really liket the first one except for Jack's visor sunglasses), but since I don't own any preorder bonus items except the Dr. Pepper retail bonuses of course I will buy it.

Not complaining, just trying to figure out the purpose.

I can't see why this dlc would be interesting for players new to mass effect2, as the amount of stuff is already enough. Unless we are going for the ME inventory cornucopia (which I would love personally but would not spend money on), which most players found "confusing".

For seasoned players, armor is of no particular interest, as with sufficient mileage armor doesn't actually matter. And I am not that much of a "fashionista" that I would replay the game so I could wear another type of armor.

So I just wonder...

Wait, why does everyone want the Incisor Sniper rifle?

I heard it was only on PC?

I have it on 360 and PC.

I'm confused.

You are not the only one, Im also very confused. I have it on XBox (thanks to MS when they released all ME2 preorder/bonus items for free) and this rifle was nothing worth buying. Ok, I can understand as a new sniper rifle to play with. But then they must want new pistol/AR equaly the same. Oh well, probably its a logic of "grass is greener on the other side"

Like some of the posters above me, I was hoping for a DLC with actual content... not a couple new items (plus I have the armor since I got the DDE).

I usually buy every little piece of DLC, like the Feat day crap for DAO, I am not going to be buying this for the sole reason that it is not something that will make load ME2 on my PC.

If this was indeed a new mission, then I would already be pressing the Buy button!

Although I enjoyed both of my playthroughs of ME2, I think I am going to just wait for ME3 or some DLC that isn't just looking to rob me of my $$...

It's because it is extremely deadly in the hands of your squad-mates since they seem to always get headshots with it, and never run out of ammo.

I agree that squad-mates are good with weapons, but I find M-97 Viper sniper rifle much more better. Incisor SR makes 3 weak shots which is not so effective for moving targets. While M-97 makes single powerfull shot, with fast reload and several bullets in the clip. But this is my personal likings.

Why only the Incisor rifle? Why not the Collector Rifle or the Black Hole Gun as well? I have the black hole gun, but I wouldn't mind the collector rifle... I mean wouldn't it make sense for the gun to be in the game already? You're fighting armies of collectors you'd figure Shepard would pick one up at some point!

The Collector assault rifle isnt really something to get excited about, I used it for 2 missions and then went back to the vindicator...

as I said before and feel like rementioning, just cuz i'm bored and its 3 am here almost. If there were more armor pieces than just 2 helmets in this pack I'd probably be more excited.

I'm tired of seeing my sheperds almost always looking identical. aside from what headgear, color and face, they're all wearing the same thing.

we were led to believe before ME2 was released that the new armor customization that replacing the loot system was going to let players customize their Shepard in so many different ways that almost no 2 would look alike.  They had shown that they'd designed over 500 different pieces of gear, and that was just helmets alone.

what we were given with the games release of no where near what they promised.  However we are getting a lot of helmets *sarcasm*
