Not only is the game seriously lacking in 'Mature' content but they once again made use of arcade style components and now they seem to think we 'Mature' fans want to play 'dress up Barbie' with out Sheps. I'll pass.

SECONDED!!!
This is just PURE WIN!!

But. But. But...

I do want to play dress up.

Although it's the wrong place, I can't help but agree with the Arcade comment of this post.  Mass Effect 2 feels more like an Arcade game than an Epic RPG adventure.  The colours, locations the whole lot.

Mature content was in there, it was just in locations that sometimes were out of place, and they were handled as though they were presenting them to adolescents more interested in shooting things...

...oh wait.

That's wrong. Just because there isn't a **** ton of menus you have do struggle through doesn't mean the game is any less mature. Quit being a whiny little **** and suck it up. Go play DA:O if you want more menu maneuvering than fighting.

An arcade game for me would be Call of Dude-y. I can't see too many similarities between ME2 and CoD.

Well that wasn't very nice.

I do think the "mature" content was handled better in ME1 rather than ME2. ME1 was tasteful (imo) while ME2 was... well it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good. It's something I'd expect to see on the TV.

  Menu navigation?  You got Menu navigation from that post?  How about you read the post.  I was referring to Mature content, not menu items.  E.g The debate whether you could take credit for your achievements if you were genetically engineered to be perfect, or whether the sterilization of a race is an ethical path compared to destruction.
I was stating that they were handled very casually, half of Miranda's involved the camera sitting on her arse.

And yes, the fighting parts felt more arcade style, but never said that was a bad thing, I love the fight bits in Mass Effect 2, more than in Mass Effect 1 even.
But seriously, whining about menu navigation? Please. Read the comment, think, then write. You missed the first two.

this is nice for me, b/c the inferno armour is the only pre-order armour i dont have.

but deff would a little ticked off if i had pre-ordered the version of the game that came with it. does this mean they will be selling the collector, blood dragon, and terminus armours also?

This probably should have come out on Ceberus (how is firewalker free and this isn't? I'd have happily paid for the firewalker pack. It should have been the other way around: firewalker paid, item dlc free)

I am glad that we're getting dlc every now and then (compared to ME1 dlc). That said I'd prefer to wait a couple of months between each one and get something more substantial. Then again I'd happily wait for many more months if an Awakening length expansion for ME2 was announced...and then to hell with items!

I want the two helmets. Just not the inferno armor it looks like crap anyway. Its the worst looking armor in the game. ECK, but I'm a custom **** ahh, but bioware is going to wait before I buy the helmets. Sorry guys not getting my pay check this time. haha.

I would say yes, at some point bioware may actually sell the other armors which would make the fans who didn't get it happy. I would be happy with this as well. Sense my buddy didn't get it. I say do it for the homies bioware. HOORAH!

Got the Inferno already through the pre-order, so this DLC is really dissapointing. Won't buy that and I agree with someone earlier, it would be ok if you could choose between Inferno and Terminus here, so that all who preordered and got one of those can get the other one.

Feel for the people who already have it :( Is this the upcoming dlc then? If so its weak.

I expected a long-waiting "Liaras's hunt for Shadow Broker" DLC. And instead we got another "got another useless gadget" DLC. Dissapointing.

Point is, they read this forum and, I believe, know EXACTLY what people want, but still "exciting news about upcoming DLC" are not so exciting.

For ****s sake, someone, do a damned Helmet Toggle and people will start naming their firstborns after you.

Yeah a helmet toggle is a must for the immesion factor in the story. I have all the custom armors thus far and I use none of them since it take away from the immersion of the game. How are my old teamates from ME1 supposed to reconize me in ME2 if I'm wearing a damned helmet all the time.

Now that I think about it people asked for more armor pieces and even said they would pay for it. Well that was N7 Armor and then this comes out all the whining fest comes into town once again.

I am disappointed in this DLC too though. I originally thought that this was a whole armor suit and not just two helmets. I already have the Inferno Armor and its ugly anyways. I am not purchasing this and I did not purchase the Alternate Outfits.

I am not upset about this costing money. I am more upset that Bioware isn't releasing new missions and stuff. It would be awesome if they released a whole planet with a bunch of missions and even include the Hammerhead for about $10. Kind of like Fallout 3 Point Lookout.

Sweet, I only have the "Collectors Edition" anyhow and just (finally) went xBox live, so it's ALL GOOD to me!

Man.. I really hope this wasn't the "exciting news about upcoming DLC" they were talking about in that news post. You folks are churning out a lot of content but I think I speak for most people when I say we want actual things to do more than extra outfits. I was all hyped up for another mission.

"First, make sure to tune in early next week for some exciting news about upcoming DLC!" So uhmm, is this equilizer pack the only thing to be "excited" about in terms of DLC? Or is this a joke along the lines of the Bazaar?

Hmmm, disappointing DLC. I'm not sure making my infiltrators head glow blue or orange is the best course of action, tactically speaking.

BW really need to start differentiating between these tiny add-ons (which I barely consider DLC) and things like Kasumi when they do their "announcements of announcements of DLC".

For those upset about items and not new missions, this was on Christina Norman's Twitter a little bit ago:

"For those asking about DLC, trust me, we're releasing story DLC as fast as we can. Item dlc is like a between-meal snack."

For the people who don't read through the whole thread. This was posted approx. 18 hours ago. See page 3 of this thread.

Here are some stats:
Capacitor Helmet
Reduces the delay before shields start regenerating by 10%

Archon Visor
Reduces the recharge time of your powers by 5%

+the look badass.

Also...
For those of you who want the Incisor - trust me, we're listening. More info on that at a later date.
Also, stay tuned. We're still working on (bigger) stuff for you guys. Not just item packs.

I do not undestand one thing - why adding new look is so a problem? OK, it could be a problem if it changes the stats, but what about casual look? Why we cant have sometning new here? Is it really so difficult to make? A lot of ppl wants some new casual look for Shepard. He/she need it a lot (one dress - for her - is enough).

I never used any helmets, they just not look good, I prefer to look at the face. The customized armor is better as well.

And I can feel the dissapointment, not bcs the dlc is bad, but bcs I expected something else, like new missions ( with dialog of course ). When can we expect something like that? What about the news and announcments thing, like there is any? Give as some plan of new dlc, at least there will be something to wait for....

That's sound promising :-)
But PLEASE let some common sense guide you with the next DLC releases. Seperate items and optional glasses, please. And if the EA guys are in your necks telling you what to do against your better judgement, give'em the finger for us!
