You know, for whoever said that Helmet toggle ruins immersion, I have to disagree (I would still kill for helmet toggle though). There's a lot of body language too, so even though you can't see your face, you can still see the meaning and the emotion behind things.

Although, kissing Liara with my Terminus armor on was a tad awkward.

everyone recognizing me with the terminus armor was strage as well

Well there's gotta be a point where, even if it doesn't make total sense, you have to accept it. Yeah, you're walking around with a helmet on and somehow, everyone recognizes you. It doesn't make total sense, but for the sake of the story you've gotta roll with it anyway.

What would have been nice though, is if they included a little animation that has you remove your helmet during appropriate times, like when you're talking to someone outside of combat, or you're kissing someone, or when you're drinking.

The unfortunate thing is that a fair number of us may actually be loot guys/girls, and like getting all the stuff we can. By releasing the pack with armor we might already own they make it hard to justify the purchase... even for people who otherwise would like to have the other oddball couple of items.

@Reiisha
No and No.

@Urik
Or we could be an involved customer base who would like Bioware and EA both to have a good idea of how well their add-on products resonate. It isn't as simple as "don't buy it" as most of us have already or in the future will purchase DLC for this game. If we don't give feedback, then how is the provider to have any idea what we want or like?

Unless you are saying they just don't care... (which could entirely be true).

You support EA?

Good for you, supporting the cheapskate-tactics they employ.

1) Is there finally a female version of the Inferno armor?
2) Is the helmet togglable?

If just one of those questions can be answered with "yes" i may think of getting it.

no and no.

Bah! The first ME2 DLC I'm not buying. I don't wear helmets on any of my characters and I won't use armor that doesn't have removable helmet.

oh and btw, regarding the Inferno Armor, you ever think that maybe they are re-releasing it because of its popularity. unfortunately not everyone was able to get it so therefore what? must the rest of us that dont have never play with it? there are people on ebay extorting ME fans for $30+ for a single damn code. so it was exclusive. and now it is not. thanks EA/BIOWARE, now I dont have to fork out $30 for an armor

Btw new DAO content May 18, for 400MSP. I'd wager it isn't two new weapons and Blood Dragon Armor.

then dont buy it. simple as that. im sorry but I am really failing to see what the fuss is all about.
*sigh* this is one of the reasons why I dislike forums in general. you all sound like a bunch of kids that were given a present and threw back saying "its not what I wanted waaaaaah!"

buy it dont buy, EA could care less. and BIOWARE is just trying to add variety to the characters, cuz at the end of the day ladies and gentlemen this is a RPG and variety is important. so sorry they cant cater for everyones individual needs.

I support EA to the fullest and I believe BIOWARE did right by joining them.
and thats all i gotta say

thank you and good nite

IMHO it's not about the items, but it's simply that a certain group of ME2 owners(namely those that were entitled to get the Inferno armor because they picked a specific retailer when buying ME2)  is getting shafted here, because they are paying 160 points for just two "new" items, whereas the rest gets three "new" items. Sure, it's a trivial sum really, but I'm still feeling ripped off....and that's for me the real issue here.

The problem with the Blood Dragon and Collector Armor is that they are only available if you purchase a certain game.  Pre-order bonuses don't come in the package but those armors do.

Oh, if BioWare snuck this in, it would be so trixy of them.

Aw, really? There might be some way to add the file to the game or something somehow, if you're using the PC. Although you probably shouldn't do that because it might be against the rules or something. Come to think of it, I probably shouldn't have mentioned it. >.> Oh well.

Well, truth be told, the armors aren't some huge buff or anything, they just look cool. The inability to remove the helmet is a pain, though.

I'm afraid it's just a common glitch with her outfit.

New Mass Effect 2 DLC is now on sale for both the PC and the Xbx 360, the new Equilzer Pack. The Equilizer Pack contains the Archon Visor, the Capacitor Helmet and the Inferno Armor and is available for 160 Microsoft or BioWare Points.

Cerberus doesn’t just need a hero – they need a one-man army. That’s why the Equalizer Pack adds the Capacitor Helmet, Archon Visor, and Inferno Armor to Shepard’s armor locker.  The Capacitor Helmet stores power for kinetic barriers, allowing Shepard’s shields to recharge faster.  The Archon Visor manages omni-tools and biotic amps, reducing the recharge time of Shepard’s powers.  The powered Inferno Armor speeds up Shepard’s movements and increases his tech and biotic power damage, additionally stress analysis software even gives him an edge in negotiations outside of combat.  The Equalizer -- when the armor goes on, the gloves come off.

You can learn the item bonuses and see new screenshots for the new items on the Mass Effect 2 website here: http://masseffect.bi...e.com/info/dlc/.

Guess I don't need to buy this for my femshep then!

Just saved me 160 MS pts.  Thanks Chris!

Yeah here's a pic of what happens to Kasumi's outfit when I bought this dlc. The color is really a blue/grey color with TX on the side of her hood

At least look on the bright side...  They made them so you can have a drink without looking like a total ******..  Image IPB

Think i'll pass, just another money grabbing exercise.

Now had it been a load of N7 bits that made up a rough aproximation of the Inferno armour when combined, then i'd have been all over it.

But it's just stupid and a slap in the faces of those that already have the armour.

I wonder how hard it is to make a bunch of armor pieces, now that you mention it Orkboy. I might consider getting a cheap dlc pack if it were like, 20 pieces of armor. Maybe not 20, but a pretty decent number. I was kinda surprised to see how few armor pieces there really are in the game.

*And when I say cheap, I mean cheap. 160 MS points max. For pieces that nobody else has through some type of offer, or some preexisting content that got cut and resurrected.

It is a graphics glitch where Kasumi's armor takes the skin of whatever weapon she is currently holding.
