Don't whine just because you didn't buy your copy of ME2 from Gamestop.
You people should be more grateful that BioWare has given us free stuff up til now, they weren't obligated to at all.
And considering how much I spent on Dr. Peppers to get the promotional Dr. Pepper items, sheesh, $2 for two visors and an armor set is GREAT.

As i alluded to earlier, you can expect a DLC announcement for something larger next week. Trust me, we're very focused on supporting ME2 with DLC. Micro-content packs are not the only things we're doing.
Whatever.
Really.
After the countdown timer to the EPIC COMMUNITY EVENT that disqualified most of the 'community', I'll wait for the actual announcement and a list of the restrictions.
I'll look forward to finding out information about something like Shadows or Hordes for NWN. Sims clothes and armor that squadmates can't use with helmets your pc can't remove aren't really all that spectacular.

haha. bungie got out from M$. let's hope something similar happens here in the next decade. this low quality paid DLC has already worn out its welcome.
and they signed up under Activision, who obviously don't overprice map-packs and suchlike monstrously.
You wanna pay £10 or $15 for Kasumi next time, Activision likes this thought

But can you drink DLC? That is the question.
As Yatzee would say, is this worth more than ice cream sandwiches?
For the same price I could get:
x2So no.

Also, I think that this policy of "drop by drop" DLC is not good for Bioware (see all the reactions in this thread for the "infamous" Equalizer Pack) and neither for us.
I know they can, and I hope they will, do better than this.

Somehow I have the feeling she'd be able to rock a mullet big time. New Loyalty power too: Air Guitar!AgniTheFire wrote...
I think that will be in the third game Jason. at least a new and Long Haircut would be nice. or at least a Mullet.

Is there any way you guys could release an alternate Equilizer pack for people who own the Inferno Armor or who just don't want it? Say 80 points for just the two helmets?

Clearly you've never had a Dr. Pepper, drinking them was a slog...Besides the POINT was that 1 Dr. Pepper got 1 Visor and 1 Dr. Pepper costs around $1.50

-First off I never said BioWare said the armor was included in that pack as a freebie, just that it could have been considered as a freebie.TJSolo wrote...

Unbelievable. BioWare releases a download pack of items one of which was from a preorder and everyone complains about it. So the two helmet items are not worth $1 each? Did anyone even consider that the armor could have been tossed in that bundle as a freebie item? Maybe BioWare plans to release the Terminus Armour and Blackstorm in bundles with 2 new items as well?
If you were stupid enough to go out of your way to find and spend insane amounts of money to get the codes for the preorder items that’s your problem not BioWare’s.
As for the people who hide behind the “but I paid for it when I preordered
the game” crap line, your full of it as well. Last I heard doing a preorder doesn’t cost you anymore than buying it any other time. Your deposit is supposed to be taken off your final purchase price.
Excluding all the limited time offer and incentive to preorder. Are you saying now is time to pay the piper? All the guys and gals that had the Free*
armor now have to pay in order to get the new content?
Making up BS, the DLC is not calling the Inferno free with purchase it is part of the price. Lie to your self all you like but put that crap out here and people will say you are deluding yourself.
-Secondly how is paying 67 cents for that armor really paying for it again? Oh wait, unless your one of those that paid over $5 to get it online. Its not like they bundled all the preorder items in one pack and said “screw all you preorder people buy this pack to get the one item you are missing all at one price“ did they?

What really bothers me about this DLC is: The content is mutually exclusive - I mean really?
For example I liked how the Locust was woven into the narrative of the Kasumi DLC, while the flamethrower was semi-fittingly put into Zaeed's mission, meaning you got your mileage of all bits of your DLC. You could even say that with the Alt. Appearance pack, you could see your whole team decked out with alternative outfits.
In this DLC pack... unless you switch your equipment a lot, you will effectively only use one or two parts of it (especially considering how headpieces are often chosen for the look).

Er... This is about the Shepard armour pack, not the companion armour pack, read before you jump in next time.
His point applies for both Shepard and companion packs.
But, your suggestion of reading before commenting is good, largely because he says he doesn't know why people are unhappy.
I did read the comments, they were the source of my confusion. Let me clarify, I'm well aware why people are saying they're unhappy but their rational is retarded.
And by retarded I mean in the definitive sense: slowness or limitation in intellectual understanding and awareness.
Do you write Wal-Mart angry little emails that not every item in the store is something you would like? Or are you mad that Wal-Mart may be selling something that... God forbid... YOU ALREADY OWN! ! ! !
Come on, if you have the armour and two helmets aren't worth the points don't download them. No one's forcing you. If I was Bioware all this complaining would simply reduce the incentive to put out DLC.
