All you people should stop ****ing and whining, I have the Terminus armor and am very happy to be able to get the Inferno Armor.

Don't whine just because you didn't buy your copy of ME2 from Gamestop.

You people should be more grateful that BioWare has given us free stuff up til now, they weren't obligated to at all.

And considering how much I spent on Dr. Peppers to get the promotional Dr. Pepper items, sheesh, $2 for two visors and an armor set is GREAT.

But can you drink DLC? That is the question.

Clearly you've never had a Dr. Pepper, drinking them was a slog...Besides the POINT was that 1 Dr. Pepper got 1 Visor and 1 Dr. Pepper costs around $1.50

You could get the codes for free...

I'm not gonna lie I stole Dr. Pepper bottle caps and left the sodas open in stores just to get DLC for ME2.

I feel as if this should be free, but meh, I have some points leftover from the Stolen Memory DLC. I guess it's kind of cool how the Inferno armour is in there, since my slip was blank, and I like the look of that visor.

So, chill out.

Jesus Christ!!!!!! it's 2 FREAKING DOLLARS!!!!! What the hell people, get over it.

For 2 dollars I bought Team Fortress 2.

TEAM FORTRESS 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

That just means you waited.  When TF2 was released, I bought the Orange Box on the first day with TF2, Portal, and HL:EP2.  It was $50 and worth every penny.

Well you can download The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, a fantastic brand new game for €3.99 on steam now.

I didn't mind this DLC too much, purely because I don't have the Inferno Armor, but it's so god damned ugly and crude for my female Shepard that I'm almost suffering from buyers remorse. However, the price being so cheap nulls the remorse somewhat.

The Archon Visor is also hideously ugly. Reminding me of those metallic frames an accidental car victim wears to brace their face from falling apart. What is with the mouth piece looking like thing anyway? It's absolutely pointless design wise, it's not like Shepard's gonna have fire gassing from it, right? Stupid and utterly pointless design.

The Capacitor Helmet on the other hand is perhaps a little odd to look at at first. In due time though, it does grow on you, and what's more, it reminds me of Robocop. Especially how my female Shepard walks. I like this a lot!

So, I guess I pad more than $2 for the Capacitor Helmet then, hey? Meh, whatever!

As i alluded to earlier, you can
expect a DLC announcement for something larger next week. Trust me,
we're very focused on supporting ME2 with DLC. Micro-content packs are
not the only things we're doing.

Weren't they saying something similar before we got this useless pack?

I think the BioWare folks should think "will these items make someone want to play the game again?" before releasing stuff like this.

I benefited from that screwup that let you download all the pre-order **** for free, I think that amount of stuff would be worth paying around 2-3 dollars. It doesn't add missions or anything, but it's fun trying out the Collector Gun or that triple shot rifle or whatever.

I'd also pay for a costume pack that added skins for all party members, almost a buck per character is ridiculous.

An N7 armor pack would also be worth it, as long as it wasn't you know, two pieces for 160 points....

A great moral boost for the community would be FREE story-based DLC to counter these paid ones, but I just don't see that happening. Not implying anything bad about Bioware, not after experiences with Activision/Infinity Ward, but still, it would be nice. I don't mind dishing out a few bucks though.

I LOVE the new helmet. The visor is ok, I would have liked it more if it was transparent though. The Inferno Armor is also good, though not my favorite. I still prefer the Cerberus and N7 armor.

I like the Inferno Armor, and the helmet and visor are cool too. Definitely going to use them on my next playthrough. The way I see it, the armor that I can't remove the helmet I'll just use for the Collector ship mission, Leigon's loyalty mission, Tali's loyalty mission, and any other missions that require a helmet.

I'm tired of hearing the "if you don't like it, don't buy it" comments because it's ok for people to voice their displeasure so that Bioware and EA hear their consumers' voices and expectations. As long as those voices are offering constructive criticism, that's how change occurs. As someone who got the Inferno Armor as a pre-order bonus, I don't feel ripped off that BioWare is offering it for $2 – which I think is a reasonable price even though I didn't like the armor. I feel very disappointed that something new and useful wasn't offered instead. That's the message I want to send.

It's really simple, it's not integral to gameplay, so if you don't like it, don't spend the cash!

So ME2's DLC so far consists of a couple of guns, an ugly suit of armour, a vehicle that makes the MAKO look spectacularly good by comparison and a theif character that was wisely omitted from the game in the first place. Not great so far it has to be said.

Hopefully they are working on something equivalent to Dragon Age Awakening. Story and adventure I'll gladly pay money for. Extra guns & armour, poorly designed vehicles and characters that should have been left on the cutting room floor don't really add to the game.
