Well, I much prefer it when people mention users for a good reason, like when people say, hey, check out Gatsby's video,or sinosleep's, etc. That kind of fame benefits everybody in the community.

Just two dollars? Considering the amount of revenue a DLC pack generates this one is not worth 10 cents. Having had to pad it with an exclusive pre-order item should make that clear. Two freaking helmets? Sure they glow but are you "TWO" freaking years old? Is that all that is takes to impress you? Two glowing helmets? It ain't that two dollars is mucho money for most people here it's that the content isn't worth it. If it was something that got released with the game launch I'd understand. Cause it's just two helmets, could be little collectors items, sure. Standalone, they could also be collectors items. That's not the case here, the case is that they don't have anything worthwhile to release and just want money. Otherwise I don't see why they messed with the value of a pre-order item by sticking it with two tarded glowing helmets.

I already had the Inferno Armor, and love it, it really suits the feeling of a Cerberus Field Officer, maybe because it looks like the Sith Commando Armor from KotOR.
I really like the 2 new visor, especially the Archon.
It would make them even better, if Shepard could touch the visors (like the batarian technician in Garrus' recruitment) and it would go transparent.

need more armor pieces for the other parts, and different patterns for the armor would be cool as well

Given the games is just a few months old and we have had:

Hammerhead
Kasumi

Armour pack

We can hardy complain!

Hammerhead - so bad it made the MAKO look good
Kasumi - an out-take from the game that deserved to stay out
Appearance pack - fixes Garrus' broken armour, somethiong that should have been done in the game
Armour pack - selling pre-order content that those who pre-ordered have already said isn't very good

I am not complaining, but I feel perfectly entitled to criricize. The post game content for ME2 has, so far, been utter rubbish I'm afraid. But I will not lose heart, after all Oblivion's DLC started with horse armour but finished with the outstanding Shivering Ilses. Bioware themselves have just released a good, sizable expansion to Dragon Age. I am hoping for something similar for ME2.

My god, you must have had a hard time dreaming up this rhetoric. You consider the Hammerhead worse than the MAKO? From what I hear about the MAKO it was endless hours of roaming similar boring landscapes and almost unnegotiable 90 degree slopes. Well, the Hammerhead had a variety of landscapes, enemies, and objectives.
You're complaining about Kasumi now? Where were you when she came out? People were more than happy, loved it, thought she was worth it, welcomed the Locust, compared the Flashbang to Reave, and wondered if she was overpowered to sell well. You call her an out-take that should hav stayed out?
Appearance pack: It was available in screenshots b4 u paid your money. Didn't like it? Don't buy it. As for Garrus' armor, I don't think they left it broken in the game as a mistake, I think they left it like that as part of his character's lore.
Armour pack: Don't like it, don't buy it. Poor value for your money? Not enough people will buy it for Bioware to stick to their present DLC policy. Just vote with your wallet instead of your mouth.
If you're going to criticize, do it, don't exaggerate to protect your opinion. "Utter rubbish" was over the top. As for an expansion, let's keep our fingers crossed!

Now as far as this DLC goes - you should feel embarassed, Bioware. Really. Including the Inferno armor was a slap in the face to those people who already have it.

And if they don't????

Why do you think every bit of DLC has to cater to you? Don't like it, don't want it, don't buy it.

As a fellow Aussie, who pre-ordered the ME2 Collectors Edition from EB Games I didn't get the inferno armour either.  I saw this as an opportunity to get something I have wanted for a while now. So, even at the possibility of becoming extremely unpopular, I have to say I
didn't mind this DLC. I had the 160 MS points sitting in my account. So I bought the pack.

I can see how those who own the Inferno Armour may feel especially ripped-off and how it's really just a way for BioWare and EA to make a quick buck. No awards are going to be handed out for this DLC.

But this is how it's done now days.... and in the end, it's armours. In a video game. It's entertainment. I wonder if people are taking this a litle too seriously?

I was alittle disapointed that this is all it was but i dont have the armor and the helmets look sharp so I'll get it, its only 2 dollars and maybe the cash will go to fuel the "armor pieces project" or more mission DLC.

Already have the inferno armour, and I'm not buying it just for two helmets, since I mostly play helmetless anyway (curse you, lack of toggle).

I'll wait for the next DLC.

I agree.

The MAKO was sad, endless planet grinding on generic, literal cut and paste landscapes just so you could play a button mash minigame and farm omni-gel. If you played ME1 and you LIKED planets like Blowdacrux you need psychiatric help.

Was the Hammerhead a grand piece of DLC engineering? No. But the missions were more fun than anything I did with the MAKO, it's free  in-game  cash, free XP, and just plain FREE.

Kasumi? Check the threads when she came out. The same people complaining now complained then just as bitterly "Aww, $7 for this?" "Bioware should be ashamed?" "Bioware sucks" "Kasumi sucks" "I saw Kasumi in a trade show demo clip last year, so she should have been free."

Crybabies, and whiners all, with a sense of entitlement that could stun a team of Oxen in its tracks.

Her loyalty mission was fun and a nice change of pace, I finally got a decent SMG. (Recoil on the Tempest is atrocious) and I take Kasumi almost everywhere and have found her to be a great fighter.

They left Garrus' armor broken because HE is broken. Besides, people knew what the appearance pack was. Don't like it, don't buy it....which speakes far more loudly to Bioware than some basement dweller coming onto their forums, not to constructively critisize, but to be a self-important blowhard.

You can if you do your homework on it. The guy who posted obviously did because he was right about the Mako.
