When people get disappoined, they say angry things. Can't really blame him. This was more over-the-top ****ty than I thought BioWare could do.AwesomeName wrote...

You got to be kidding me. That's it? 2 ugly helmets and armor some might already own? That's what's on the Horizon? For 2 or 3 dollars? What a rip off!
Please, everyone, unless you want the Inferno Armor for whatever the reason, don't buy it.
What a wierd thing to ask everyone... How does the rest of us buying or not buying this have any effect on you?
New ME2 DLC NOW on sale. The Equilizer Pack.

I can live with that quite happily, but with this latest DLC pack and the Appearance Pack before it I cant help but feel that youre taking the "shots 1 euro each" approach with it, where most people get ratted before they generate a decent tab, but those who dont and know how to behave find it a petty cash in.
I'm not casting any stones, but I feel your current approach is hurting the games you worked so hard to make, now that everyone's used to getting large-ish mission packs for free and now glorified armour retextures (I know I'm being harsh, but I'm making a point) and stocking filler armour are getting a price tag.
Most people on this forum own the Inferno armour and are probably feeling more than a little lead-on for pre-ordering from [insert reseller here],
I doubt there are many people who have a problem with paying for DLC, but I for one care content so a pack should be worth paying for.
We have lots of armour, and have been privileged to get some pretty good missions for free. But, if you want to start charging dont expect to raise the bar pro bono, and then knock it down again for a fee, it will hurt your revenue, a dedicated customer I am but brand loyalty is a very relative and many a good developer have gone bad lately, please dont become yet another one.
Not after seminal game universes like Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, Dragon Age and Mass Effect, it would be a tragedy

I guess I paid for the outfit pack, but that was ONLY because I was pissed off that Garrus armor is STILL BROKEN even when you switch it to the loyalty colors..

The effects are pretty useless too, one is a small recharge time modifier and the other modifies shields which we already have several armor pieces doing, both DLC and vanilla.

I don't think it's the worst I've seen, but it needs more imo, and adding Inferno is downright idiotic.
Yeah that's a fair point I guess... In fact the more I think about it the more of a rip-off it seems... How much does an episode of Lost on iTunes cost? About the same? Still... 2/3 dollars is very little... If most fans pay for it then clearly it's not too much money by their standards

Cerberus doesn’t just need a hero – they need a one-man army. That’s why the Equalizer Pack adds the Capacitor Helmet, Archon Visor, and Inferno Armor to Shepard’s armor locker. The Capacitor Helmet stores power for kinetic barriers, allowing Shepard’s shields to recharge faster. The Archon Visor manages omni-tools and biotic amps, reducing the recharge time of Shepard’s powers. The powered Inferno Armor speeds up Shepard’s movements and increases his tech and biotic power damage, additionally stress analysis software even gives him an edge in negotiations outside of combat. The Equalizer -- when the armor goes on, the gloves come off.
And while I'm at it, the above description is suspiciously similar to an industrial cleaner/detergent commercial....

Capacitor Helmet
Reduces the delay before shields start regenerating by 10%
Archon Visor
Reduces the recharge time of your powers by 5%
+the look badass.
Also...
For those of you who want the Incisor - trust me, we're listening. More info on that at a later date.
Also, stay tuned. We're still working on (bigger) stuff for you guys. Not just item packs.

Awful reasoning.SpiderFan1217 wrote...
I'm going on record saying, "You people need to stop ****ing about DLC." If you don't want it, don't download it. Simple fix. And to say Bioware is ripping people off by making new DLC available is just plain idiotic. They're not holding a gun to your head saying buy our stuff, or making the unplayable to those with out every peace of DLC. To Bioware I say: Thank you for the new DLC. I don't like to wear helmets so I won't use any of these, but thank you. You didn't have to take the time to make this, but you did and that's great. As soon as I get some MP I will download this if only to say, "Hey look, I'm Cyclops."
If we're being driven away from buying it due to quality, we have a right to complain, as Bioware expects us to buy this DLC.
Cheers for the stats. They don't look impressive though-more reasons not to buy.
Thanks for news on the Incisor though.:)Nice to also know more worthwile stuff is being worked on, too.

I'm making a safe assumption. 10% at the very most, if not 5%. Anyway, as far as function goes, the Sentry Interface presumably makes one of the two DLC visors completely useless, and in my opinion looks far, far better than either of them. And was available for free.Omicrone wrote...
@ SilasWolfe: The headpieces look all right. And how do you know it's a "small" recharge time modifier? You got the stats?
