Hype... crushed. Disappoint, exponential. Sigh.

*waits for next weeks announcement... wishes that announcement was this week's. because this weeks was very disappointing.*

I can appreciate hype as much as the next person, but each time it ends up being something minuscule or useless, I'm that much more apathetic about the next announcement. Something of game altering announcement would be good.... romance pack. more missions. alternate weapon packs. a spartan laser. inverse tachyon beam. Tali of Nine.

Oh well. At least someone bothered to respond to us this time, and hint at stuff coming next week, right? :) Thanks Michael

I do not expect that DLC should be free.
I like that so far the DLC has been varied.

There are many fans, of ME, and we all do not have the same likes and dislikes.

Bioware has provided us a wide range of DLC, from the 'Hammerhead' to 'Kasumi: Stolen Memory', to the Arc weapon, and now this.

It just is not possible to please everyone with every download.

If something strikes your fancy, purchase it, or download it.
If what you see is not what you want, do not buy it or download it.

Bioware is attentive to we the consumer, and so far they have followed through, on their promise to provide DLC. If a lot of people download and express satisfaction, with DLC like Kasumi, or Zaeed, then we will get more of that type. I have no doubt more is coming.

But there is also room for helmets, pistols, and the like, if folks express interest, and there is no reason not to put that stuff out. Those who like armour should be able to buy it, if they so desire.
Those who want story, should be able to purchase more if they so desire.

To those who say it all should be free, that just is not realistic.

Oh no he did'nt! He did not just say that! Flame him!

Yes, yes I did say that.

Writers, artists, voice actors, technicians, programmers, they all have to be paid, and this is what they do for a living. Bioware is quite happy to provide new story content, and new game gear, but bottom line, they also need to pay the rent, and salaries, and production costs, and make a profit.

Since it is not possible to cater to everyone, with every piece of DLC, the next best thing is to produce a variety of DLC and let the market decide which items 'sell'.

Comics publishers are in a similar bind, which they turn to opportunity.
Not every one will like Spiderman or JLA. Some people might like The Authority or New Avengers, but dislike the Ultimates or Secret Six; and there are those who would rail against Supergirl or Spidergirl, and tell you why reading that stuff will rot your brain, while there are others who love those characters. Not everyone likes everything. But by providing variety people can choose what they want, and leave what they don't like.

There will be DLC that Bioware puts out, that will not appeal to me, but will appeal to someone else, and vice versa. I will simply pick up the stuff I want. That simple.

How about giving Bioware a chance to show you what they have in store?
I've seen more DLC for ME2 than ever was produced for ME1. They seem to be genuine in their commitment not to make that mistake again, i.e in ignoring DLC.

The DLC has been varied, which is good, not bad. And they have said that more story driven DLC is planned, so it will not all be guns and helmets.
Tell them what you like or do not like, and why. Constructive criticism is best.
But do not condemn them for trying!

Do you want Bioware to keep offering useless and ugly armor as DLC for 2 dollars, or do you want Bioware to start making 5 useful and cool armor pieces in one pack for 3 dollars?

Did anyone notice the similarities between the Capacitor Helmet and one of the helmet designs in the early concept art for Mass Effect 1?

Don't care what anyone complains about it. I'll be getting it.

Here are some stats:
Capacitor Helmet
Reduces the delay before shields start regenerating by 10%

Archon Visor
Reduces the recharge time of your powers by 5%

+the look badass.

Also...
For those of you who want the Incisor - trust me, we're listening. More info on that at a later date.
Also, stay tuned. We're still working on (bigger) stuff for you guys. Not just item packs.

I assume Incisor is the most desired item out there right now?

I want them to come up with useful items or more side quests that don't take 5 minutes to fly around in or less than an hour with a Character I stopped using.

That said, I still have all of the Armor, DLC and otherwise, and I'm still using Blood Dragon Armor on my Adept.

I would like mudkips with that, thank you.

I tried using Collector's Armor on Higher Difficulties, but the 20% health boost doesn't feel useful as shield boosts.

This. I even bought Dragon Age just so I can get the dragon armor. I can understand people's frustration, though.

While I was dissapointed that Bioware's "big announcement" was just a couple head peices, I liked them none the less. I'm only hoping that Bioware won't try and create so much hyle over something so little next time. The next announcement that Michael mentioned should be something bigger.

Liara/Shadow Broker DLC anyone?

This presumes that Bioware's response to the negativity would be to repackage items. Or create different ones.

There are many options open to them, some of which you'd like a lot less than what's being done now.

I won't be getting this I don't have the points for it, I am about 80 MSP or so short :(. Plus the only armor I really want that I don't have is the Terminus Armor (I like the design/color) or the Bounty Hunter Armor request added (from ME2 Armor DLC thread). If anything can we get a DLC with a LONG mission in it, maybe something where it takes awhile sort of like each Merc Group's side-quest(s).

On a side note: I do have to say for beginners/newcomers to ME2 that the DLC armor is a good choice until you can purchase variations for the N7 armor.

there was a thread for armor DLCs, I asked about adding an armor variation from Star Wars: The Old Republic (still in production).

When you say, "still in production" do you mean:

The Old Republic MMO that's still in production,

or

They said,"Hey that's a good idea let's make that it's comin soon."
