I think that one of the two companies have a curious perception of what is a proper DLC.
I mean, if ME2 had some proper mod support we could have cooler content than this for free.

Meh there is only one reason for micro DLC. It's to get you to spend those excess bioware points. You buy points in blocks of 10, 15 or 20 dollars and they price decent DLC in ranges of 5 and 7 dollars. They get more money upfront, but that means you're going to have points left over. However those points are still listed as a liability in accounting. To lessen that liability they provide meh level mirco DLC in the range of 2 dollars. That's what this is about. It's not about supporting artists and developers. it's about pleasing the accountants.
Or MS points for us 360 users, but we have a variety of other good things to buy besides this.

You don't have a right to whine. You don't have a right to insult the very people who make the stuff you DO like (If I trashed you and your efforts in pretty much everything you've done since you started, how motivated would you be to go out of your way for me.) You don't have a right to make the board unlivable for other people.
Not your call.

....which is what the "right to complain" has become here for far too many.
I do actually have a right, I paid for it, as a customer, If I find out their product does not satisfy me the way that it's supposed to, I can return it and get a partial refund, or I can let them know, and they might possibly listen and take into account that I and many others were not satisfied with it. As for this board, I have every right to explain to people why certain things do what, if I wanted to make it unlivable, stating a polite opinion about optional gear, as to say, multi-forum Invasions and LUEiciding would be more fun. However, I enjoy having my account information to get my DLC back if my gear decides to fry (again) very useful, which is why I haven't bothered to cut loose.

Yeah for PC users like me, I'm stuck with bioware products for those points. Still if they make a product available for PC download, they have to do the same for the 360. The only reason I feel comfortable buying bioware points is that they make a lot of great games. I'm sure it will even out eventually, but I'm likely to get screwed more if I buy micro DLC. Would ****** me off If I have to spend 10 dollars to get a 7 dollar DLC because I was a hundred points short from buying a mirco DLC that offers very little.

You're not alone, I have to buy 500 MS point bundles to get an 80-160 point package, then end up saving it for a long time, to realize I'm going to buy a few upgrades to my Theme work for my hub, or realize I was 10 points short of buying an Indie game.
Indie games are awesome, majority of the good ones are a $1, and when you're PC is not used for Gaming, Console wise that's awesome.

And yet the fact that those items have no refund offerings means NOTHING?
You're already buying it knowing that no matter how good or bad it is you will NEVER get that money back.
Man up and take some responsibility.
I am, I'm informing people that the decision to buy that which was purchased was essentially a waste. As for refundability, I already have a fund for MS points. However, I could have bought a few Indie games for the price of this, and I also just bought a new Kukhri machete which was made from 1055 Carbon Steel.
Uh huh. Yeah, you're not trying to buy an f---in car for $30k. You're buying a visor, helmet, and armor set for $2.
If you have the urge to "inform" people about how wasteful something was at almost the same cost as a bottle of soda from a vending machine...well, just think of how pathetic that sounds.

Love the new downloads but when will the M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle or any new weapons be available?
I have a feeling the incisor may be the next DLC to come out packaged with something else (or if they listened to some people, package it seperately). I bet IF they ever release the collector armor and rifle it won't be until a Mass Effect 2 expansion pack, I have a feeling people who bought CE would be pissed if it was released under 6 months of the game being out.
I want a new pistol, only two to choose from!

Capacitor Helmet.... replaces the capacitor chestplate's functionality, so another chest option free.

Agreed!
I've always got stray bioware points hanging around which I use to pick up DLC like this. In reality though I think it takes the ****** a little to charge for DLC like this and feast day pranks etc This is the sort of stuff we should be getting for free or bundled with larger DLC. Yet I realise that while dip****s like me continue to use up their left over points on crap like this we only encourage them to carry on with this practice.
I have no problem with the price of larger DLC they release for this or Dragon Age, i've never once felt short changed by any of them, i'll happily hand over my money for these but when they start charging for a couple of helmets and a piece of armour that the work experience lad has probably knocked up in his lunch hour I start feeling like i'm being taken advantage of.
Eventually this cow will have been milked dry!

yes sure, and maybe they should just make all DLCs free, in fact why doesnt BIOWARE just make all expansions and even all new games free! im sure they really dont mind giving away games that they take years to perfect. i mean since all this community can do is b*tch and moan at every little thing they do wrong and lets not forget the ever opressing EA... those fascit pigs. How dare they try and make money of us and pioneer they way games are made and marketed!
seriously people
get a grip,
get off your damn computer
walk outside and you will see that you dont live in a fantasy world, but a real one

After their milk is gone, you butcher the cow and sell it as beef
I do hope Bioware can use this DLC revenue to possibly make greater improvements for ME3

I play BW games for the characters and the story, a dlc that only adds equipment isn't something I'll pay for. Heck, I'd play this game even if there was only a pistol. So, I'm not going to buy it.
OMG, there is intelligent criticism on this site.
thank you very much Kenrae, just as you said, you are CHOOSING NOT to buy this DLC, and you gave a valid reason. WOW
i have to agree and disagree with you tho. yes I would also play this game even if all there was, was one lousy non upgradable pistol because the story is fantastic and that is personally the reason why I play games, on the other hand tho, I do like variety and BIOWARE knows how to provide that.
thanks BIOWARE and EA for launching a DLC where I can get the inferno armor for €2 as appose to being extorted €30+ for it on ebay

Then again I am choosey about which games I will pay new release money for. ME2 was one of few games I paid for at new release.
Having proved it's value though I got the Kasumi DLC immediately and had no problem with $7.00 AUD.
It's all about value for money and track record - Bioware have the track record, but 3 pieces of armor is not value for money, yes, I would buy a soda over 3 pieces of digital armor.
