You don't have a right to whine. You don't have a right to insult the very people who make the stuff you DO like (If I trashed you and your efforts in pretty much everything you've done since you started, how motivated would you be to go out of your way for me.) You don't have a right to make the board unlivable for other people.
Not your call.

Agreed!
I've always got stray bioware points hanging around which I use to pick up DLC like this. In reality though I think it takes the ****** a little to charge for DLC like this and feast day pranks etc This is the sort of stuff we should be getting for free or bundled with larger DLC. Yet I realise that while dip****s like me continue to use up their left over points on crap like this we only encourage them to carry on with this practice.
I have no problem with the price of larger DLC they release for this or Dragon Age, i've never once felt short changed by any of them, i'll happily hand over my money for these but when they start charging for a couple of helmets and a piece of armour that the work experience lad has probably knocked up in his lunch hour I start feeling like i'm being taken advantage of.
Eventually this cow will have been milked dry!
yes sure, and maybe they should just make all DLCs free, in fact why doesnt BIOWARE just make all expansions and even all new games free! im sure they really dont mind giving away games that they take years to perfect. i mean since all this community can do is b*tch and moan at every little thing they do wrong and lets not forget the ever opressing EA... those fascit pigs. How dare they try and make money of us and pioneer they way games are made and marketed!
Yes because that's exactly what I said, obviously if you read my post I was quote clearly arguing the case for Bioware to make every single thing they create free of charge.
seriously people
get a grip,
get off your damn computer
walk outside and you will see that you dont live in a fantasy world, but a real one
Ahhh that old chestnut, it;s doubly ironic getting that advice from somebody who seems to be getting worked up on an internet forum over other peoples posts.
Bioware do make great games and I will continue to be quite happy to hand my money over to them as I certainly feel I get value for money from them the vast majority of the time, people still have a right to air their views if they aren't happy with something though, and this is one of those times when I don't think they are justified in charging for such a small amount of content.

For those saying 'you don't have to buy it if you don't like it,' one reason a lot of people ARE pissed is because of how much hype is built around this. "Big DLC announcement!" sort of implies NOT just pieces of armor, but actual story stuff. If they don't want such a large backlash they should at least tell us in advance it's going to be armor and stuff not just 'OMGDLC.'

As i alluded to earlier, you can
expect a DLC announcement for something larger next week. Trust me,
we're very focused on supporting ME2 with DLC. Micro-content packs are
not the only things we're doing.
It would seem that this is merely the appetizer, the "BIG" announcement is yet to come.

You're already buying it knowing that no matter how good or bad it is you will NEVER get that money back.
Man up and take some responsibility.
I am, I'm informing people that the decision to buy that which was purchased was essentially a waste. As for refundability, I already have a fund for MS points. However, I could have bought a few Indie games for the price of this, and I also just bought a new Kukhri machete which was made from 1055 Carbon Steel.
Uh huh. Yeah, you're not trying to buy an f---in car for $30k. You're buying a visor, helmet, and armor set for $2.
If you have the urge to "inform" people about how wasteful something was at almost the same cost as a bottle of soda from a vending machine...well, just think of how pathetic that sounds.
You would be surprised, at my campus they charge $1.35, where I live it's $1.25. Back down in where I grew up (around now too) it's $1.00. I don't need to tell people not to get Geedunk, because everyone wants food and drink. However, I've gotten this already, the product is crap. As for the 30k car, I'm not big on cars, so that's someone elses job to armchair them. This is becoming the equivilant of Horse Armor.
Regardless, look at the topic, over 50% of the people here do not like the gear standing off, and just about everyone who previously had Inferno Armor (including myself), feel ripped off because we got NOTHING NEW OR GOOD.

No. I really didn't.
I'm not whining, not trashing the people that make the content and not making the buard unlivable for other people. And this:

And, why, pray tell, does every content pack have to be for YOU? This one wasn't. You're not the only one playing the game, you're not the only one with desires as to content, micro or otherwise.
One day they will release, say, the Terminus Armor or the Incisor Rifle (that I assume you don't have) And when the shoe is on the other foot that day you'll realize how THEIR complaining looks. For the record, I actually have Inferno so there wasn't much in this pack for me.
That just means the pack wasn't really MADE FOR ME. There will be ones that are.

I have Terminus already, I do not have Incisor Sniper Rifle. As for it being for me, that would be amazingly awesome. I play with an Adept, yet I don't use the Archon Visor. Were it not for the Blood Dragon Armor, I would be using Terminus Armor, or the highest Power Damage output gear on the N7 Armor. The Visor was made for Biotic and Tech users, so technically I do fall under the category of users who would partially find a use for it. The Capacitor Helmet takes off the Chest Slot that could be use, or possibly stack for 20% faster recharges.
As for my desires, I desire what the majority of the board wants, DLC that has something to do with quests and a storyline. We don't need new overpowered guns or new shiny pieces of semi-useful Armor pieces (or redudnant ones). We set the bar for gear being good because Bioware keeps releasing good weapons, the Arc Caster became one of the 3 best Heavy weapons, the Locust became the most powerful Sub-machine gun and almost rivals an Assault Rifle. The Incisor is considered one of the best squad weapons because of it's burst-fire.

I'm sure he doesn't, he's actually right though, Mods and Admin are the only ones who have any authority to tell people here what to do, users don't.

$2 and tacks is just pocket change really, but people are still pissed that Bioware can easily tell a guy on his lunch break to recolour some stuff, add custom stats and then sell it as legit DLC
