The visor looks great on my shep and helps a lot since he is a vanguard. And now that I have inferno, I have all of the DLC armor packs except blood dragon.

Hey, man.  I noticed you posting this repeatedly.  Did you post on the Technical Support forum page?

Usually BioWare has pretty prompt replies on issues like this; maybe you can find better help there?

Oh, okay.  Maybe if they don't respond soon, try PMing a dev.  This is kind of serious.

Agreed. Don't know who came up with this ridiculous DLC, probably a genius.

ROFLCOPTER prompt replies. HaHa that is a good one. If you were foolish enough to pay for the DLC then its the end of the road for you. BW have your money and they do not give a fcuk about you or the game.

I already have the armor, so the rest doesn't seem worth it. I also have enough headgear that really doesn't make much difference in the game anyway. Now, if the M-490 Blackstorm were included, I would consider it.

I'm looking forward to when this thread dies its necessary horrible death. It's already been milked dry, really. People have managed to move on to bigger and better things, like posting in more constructive threads.

I have bought this DLC pack, DESPITE the fact I already own 1/3 of the content (Terminus Armour). I feel like such a tool. I keep falling for ME2 DLC scams because I'm such a completionist. I hate it when companies appeal to my compulsions just to make some extra money. It feels dirty and dumb to be a Mass Effect fan right now.

Know THIS BioWare / EA: as soon as ME3 hits the shelves (and I downloaded all of it's DLC) you will have to make some pretty AMAZING games in the future to make up for lost respect. Making a completionist pay for stuff he already owns is a dubious extortion racket and nothing more.

I didn't buy the latest DLC (equilizer pack) but I have It. You get it? And I will do this, for such wack DLC's. :)

And now, go on: beat the crap out of me

Nomex11, why should I beat the crap out of you? I'm rather glad for you instead! Considering the latest DLC costs less then a ride on the bus, I'm not to ticked off about the price... I'm ticked off about the principle of selling item packs that contain stuff people already own. I'd glady pay some points for the helmet and the visor, but I don't see the point in paying for Inferno Armour since I already own it. In order to own the other items, I'm forced to pay for Inferno Armour too...? That's complete and utter BS and BioWare knows it.

BioWare is losing status, fast. Other boards are just as ticked off about these Scientology tactics. I'm going to stop treating BioWare like a great company that deserves my money. I'm gonna stop defending them as victims of EA. Out of spite, I'm considering to exclusively buy second-hand BioWare games in the future.

BioWare's actual games are all fantastic. I haven't played a BioWare game I didn't like. However, it seems that they just can't do DLC w/out pissing someone off. Of course, most DLC for any game at all will ****** someone, somewhere, off. It doesn't help that they're charging people for something they might already own either. I'll gladly buy their games. I'm first in line for DA2 and ME3, but their DLC is a completely mixed bag.

I'm a bit lost.

I can fully understand selling DLC mission packs and characters. They take a lot of direction, time and effort.

But armour? This stuff should have been in the game in the first place! It's bad business strategy to firstly sell the Cerberus Network for 2nd hand customers, but to then sell a few lines of code that should have been in the first place? The first Mass Effect had loads of armour!

Poor game BioWare, poor game.

I'm not saying it should be free, however, we are getting more complaints each time from the people bringing up old issues, or new people, who want Bioware to actually put more effort into what they produce.  For instance, I love the Arc Caster over every heavy weapon (except when I use the Cain for other jobs).  I'm still, wearing the Blood Dragon Armor my character has been wearing for the last month, because the redundancy in new Armor is not desirable and that my Biotic Damage output is higher than the Custom Armor I could attempt to make.

Right now alot of people seem to be expressing more dissatissfaction from this DLC then satisfaction.  I happened to already have every set of DLC Armor, and I managed to get it reasonably well within a short time frame with a modest price.  I only bought this new DLC because it was somewhat moderately priced, and I wanted to see if the new items are worth it (need to test the 20% recharge rate) , so far I'm not estatic.  However, I'm letting this slide because ME2 and Dead Space are the games I intend to **** out DLC with, even if I never use half the **** I get.  I wear the N7 Armor only when I feel like looking good.

Too be fair, Kasumi was worth buying, and Cerberus Network was very generous to the players (with the exception of the Firewalker pack being only useful for giving me an extra Biotic Damage upgrade, the missions sucked).  However, I already had Inferno Armor, like somewhat a large portion of the community did.  Having to pay for two pieces of semi-decent headgear for the price of a full DLC Armor suit is a ripoff, and they should have been standalone for maby 40 MS points each, if not on the Cerberus Network regardless.

Right now the only thing I'm missing is the Incisor Sniper Rifle, which I'm patiently waiting for a release.  The Rifle seems to be the most sought of the Premium/Preorder gear next to Collector Armor, so I'm surprised they haven't released it yet.

I too already had the Inferno Armor, and I chose to buy two helmets for $2.00

It was my choice.

Bioware did not force me to make the purchase.

I 'm good with my choice. I could have opted out, since I already had the armor , butI was intrigued, by the helmets,
One sucks, one is cool, IMO. I paid the price of admission to find out.  It is not worth hating on though.

I am not saying that you, or anyone else, should not tell Bioware what you like or did not like about the download.

Providing feedback, is critical to a content provider, as they then have a basis by which to make improvements.  The more people that Bioware hears from, the better, as the sample size is larger.

But it seems that all too often people take a long strong pull of 'Haterade', prior to providing their response to new DLC; so that what you end up with does not so much resemble a constructive critique of how to improve the product, but rather a volcanic blast of bile, worthy of the 'Brood Mother'.    Instead of getting useful feedback, you get showered with emotional vomitus, and there is just no way to make practical use of that.

The Bile storm is the result of the Mods and Admin not watching these topics.  As for free will, good for you and everyone of us who buys it.  It's not going to stop people from doing anything one way or the other.  That also applies to me on my stance.

Of course, most official topics are 40% ass kissing, 40% ****ing, and 20% constructive discussion and criticism.  I've seen this on social forums that are locked off from public view on Gamefaqs spinoff sites.
