I didn't buy the latest DLC (equilizer pack) but I have It. You get it? And I will do this, for such wack DLC's. :)

And now, go on: beat the crap out of me

I'm going to assume that you're not just trying to be cute after getting someone to buy it for you.
If you are committing copyright infringement then you are one of the people reinforcing the idea that software companies need protection from their customers.  That idea leads to things like SecuROM, limited installs, and always online copyright protection.  All these thing are bad for actual customers so no, I don't approve.
I think that bundling two new pieces with an armour that many people already had is a poor businees practice.   That doesn't mean people can download without paying.  Don't buy it.  Tell them why you're not buying it.  Hopefully enough people will do that to convince them to change.
For the reasons outlined above I haven't purchased.  Please don't download illegally.
If you did get someone to buy it for you, carry on.

I have bought this DLC pack, DESPITE the fact I already own 1/3 of the content (Terminus Armour). I feel like such a tool. I keep falling for ME2 DLC scams because I'm such a completionist. I hate it when companies appeal to my compulsions just to make some extra money. It feels dirty and dumb to be a Mass Effect fan right now.

Know THIS BioWare / EA: as soon as ME3 hits the shelves (and I downloaded all of it's DLC) you will have to make some pretty AMAZING games in the future to make up for lost respect. Making a completionist pay for stuff he already owns is a dubious extortion racket and nothing more.

blaming a business for your own faults is refusing to take responsibility for your own actions, nothing more.

The poster took claim of his short commings and at the same time was able to see a companying pandering products to take advantage of people.
This is consumer activism, maybe one day the current gamers will be able to understand.

no one is "pandering products to take advantage of people". they simply made a product available, though i agree that including the Inferno Armour wasn't the best way to go.

also, taking responsibility doesn't include making excuses and comparing Bioware to the Church of Scientology.

What the **** Bioware? Though that wasn't a full-blown crap-on-my-face, I definitely feel like someone just randomly ran up, ripped ass, yelled "PUNKED!", and then ran off.

I wonder if they do future dlc packs it will be of the weapons/armour that you could only previously get by pre-ordering? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the Terminus Armour and the Blackstorm projector. Plus I've seen a lot of people on here inquire about the Incisor Sniper Rifle (although I have heard it's not all that great.)

The incisor sucks, tbh. 3 shots per click and ammo pick ups only give 4 rounds >_>

It's not so great for Shepard, but it's fairly ovepowered when you equip your squaddies with it. They rarely miss and they don't run out of ammo after about 3 kills. You get the picture.

I only use squaddies for their abilities. If I don't need them, I leave them dead until the battle is over

Bioware, you need to make some proper worthwhile DLC. Giving the communtiy armour pieces (especially ones that were out previously) isn't the way to go, this dlc is overpriced and not worth I bought it simply to have the inferno armour but 160ms points is extortionate, even the kasumi toto dlc felt slightly overpriced for the 1 hour of gameplay it gave us. If you want do do dlc like this, for 160ms points I'd expect 3-4 full sets of armour. However like most I'm pining for some story driven dlc. If you are in the middle of doing something big *cough* *expansion!* then please let us know using the "what's on the horizon" line just got our hopes up then left us feeling extremely dissapointed in future don't get us excited, this dlc wasn't worth all the fuss it got.

Mediocre DLC this time. The helmets look kinda cool, but both block the eyes (and in one case the hair), so I won't use them much. Same goes for the Inferno Armor. Like the other full armor suits, it looks pretty nice. Just one thing that makes it useless to me...

...I still can't toggle the helmets. Seriously, those things rob Shepard of all his personality and turn him into a dull space marine, one of the thousands that occupy the world of gaming. So unless you'll come with Samus Aran/Master Chief suits or include the option of toggling helmets, the suits are a no-go for me.

On a positive note: I like the idea of pre-order goodies becoming available for everyone. I'm still waiting for the Incisor, so keep 'em coming.

I have no problem with BioWarEA offering up pre-order items. I never use the Collector Armor, nor do I use the Inferno gear. I much prefer my 'custom' gear because it simply looks better. The helmets aren't that bad, they just don't provide a good reason for me to play through ME2 again.

I will also say this, that Nickmo guy (or girl, along with whoever's pulling his/her strings) really needs to think more carefully about how he/she reveals upcoming DLC. This pack was not worthy of the speculation that came about as a result of his/her play on words - much less the controversy that followed its release.

So you still haven't had a response from BioWare about this?? I can certainly tell how frustrated you are having seen your posts in several threads so far.

Have you deleted the game from your console and tried a fresh start?

Meh. I don't need this DLC to beat the game or to make it more fun to play. Still with the non-toggleable helmets are they? Even less reason to get them.

Keep putting this out there, bro.  It sucks how something so small can ruin a whole gaming experience.  BioWare must not have tested this fully for something to happen like this.

Personally I think they're going to patch it up in future releases, I hope.

I'm glad I saved my $2 because of this!  I hope they go the UbiSoft route and lower the price to $1 or nothing to counteract all the bugged copies!

Well, if you truly want to make your case, have you tried maybe renting or borrowing someone else's copy of the game, and see if it does the same thing? Because if it does, at least you've proven to Bioware that it's not a disc problem.

I've caved in, and bought it for the 360 as well, and it works for me. However, I've notices some bugs as well, though not the "game broke" one. Mine is Kasumi's level keeps going back to zero.

Again, as a person who has bought it (for the inferno armor), I still say don't buy it, because the helmets are useless and ugly. Wait for something more useful instead.

@Erinlana : In regards to your problem, I can't imagine that this is un-fixable. I had a similar problem after some coalesced.ini file edits on PC. You haven't dabbled in any mod's or anything on the Xbox?
