Personally, I would drop $40 on an expansion, so I hope that happens soon enough.

In conclusion, the price isn't outrageous, like alot of people seem to think, but it should have been one of those free downloads. Also, its kind of misleading to talk about a "huge" DLC then deliver something sub-par.
Thanks though, I really like the new visor.

Is BioWare even trying anymore? First this terrible Dragon Age DLC and now even worse ME2 DLC. I thought BioWare at least had a good DLC team for Mass Effect after the last DLC we got, but way to prove me wrong! *sigh*
Yes because Bioware is can just pop out DLC left and right. <_<

I'm pretty sure it's EA who makes those decisions. Bioware is pretty good to their fans. They didn't have to give us free DLC with the Cerberus Network after all.

Yeah, they kind of did. It was necessary to facilitate other things. Plus it encouraged more retail sales by scaring those that would wait to purchased used copies on ebay into thinking they'd miss out on a lot of the "free" stuff.
I've purchased most of the dlc, and I don't mind paying less than 10 bucks for what they've provided. But don't act like BW is all angelic.
If they could figure out a way to churn out 5 hours of dlc gameplay a month and charge 10 bucks or 800 points or whatever, they'd do it. And they'd have me paying over the course of a year 200% more than the original purchase for no more than double the original gameplay. Meaning I'd be giving them enough to equal 1 full retail game for absolutely nothing in return.
That's simply good business especially when they're looking at not seeing all that much more revenue until what, late 2011...
What's sad is they've got a fairly well understood engine and most of the assets in place. I've no idea why they aren't churning out the product faster.

Well, I'd hope it's because they're taking their time with the writing and mission design. Sure, all the groundwork's been done, but if they poop out a new mission every week, they're all going to suck. You don't create something like the Kasumi pack in one night, even if some people here seem to think that's how it works and BW are just refusing to give them the content they want. Good writing takes time.

The armour looks pretty sweet but I still hate the fact during convos it doesn't disappear like helmets do in Dragon Age. Also the armour is not as good as either the N7 stuff of the Collectors armour. The helmets were fun to try but anything that blocks the face during conversations does my head in, so it wasn't long before I was back to using the Kuwashii Visor.
All in all it was a nice addition to my arsenal but it wasn't anything special. Bioware really need to toggle helmets off during conversations in ME3 or they will be lynched.

I feel a little dirty....I just broke down and purchased the DLC.
On a side note, the Archon Visor turns the Adept into an absolute beast, Throw, Slam, and Pull have cooldowns less than 2 seconds and Warp has a 3 second cooldown. Just ridiculous![]()
Thanks for letting me know, now I'm 100% sure I won't be getting this. I don't want to turn the game into a sunday afternoon stroll.

Really? Less than 2 seconds? I thought there was only a 5% cooldown reduction bonus. I've got it already, and if this is true, I'll put my soldier insanity run on hold to finally start my first adept playthru...javierabegazo wrote...

There is only 5% cooldown reduction with the Archon visor. I've been using it with my Vanguard and his charge now has a 3,6 sec. cooldown istead of previous 3,9 sec. (counting the 20% biotic cooldown upgrade + 15% cooldown reduction from his passive skill).
I know that 0,3 sec. doesn't seem like much, but believe me, it's noticable. Especialy when playing agro Vanguard on Insanity where every fraction of a second counts.
It would be very awesome though, if they released another N7 piece with 5% cooldown reduction. Then the cooldown on Charge would only take 3,3 seconds. Not to mention that the cooldowns with Engineers, Adepts and Sentinels would be ridiculous.

When we get them we get a reason to play through again, which makes the little extra's like appearances more appealing. My advice is to release the asthetic stuff together with the more chunky content

Yes, I thought they did do a couple of the dlc pricings a-ss backwards. I wouldn't have minded paying for the Firewalker either, but nevermind. I take free stuff whenever I get it, ha ha haVA_FyreHeart wrote...
Frankly several $2 DLCs don't bother me, when you consider Firewalker was free. Personally, I think they should have done it the other way around: FireWalker should have been a paid download, and these appearance/armor components should be $. I consider the armor packs as payments toward my enjoyment of Firewalker
