You guys realize this isn't the big Horizon thing right?

I don't think they do.

At least we know there's two of us.

This is the DLC mentioned in the "Horizon" article on the main page. Horizon has nothing to do with it.

$20 (was listed as a "Buy It Now"; didn't want to risk it being higher by trying to bid for it).  At first I was mad.  Now I find it funny.  I guess I'm just weird like that.  Still don't like the fact that they are packing it in with the other stuff.

Sorry to hear that. But it's cheaper than what people in the UK want for it on eBay.

tbh im not too disappointed, the helmet looks pretty sweet, and ive been wanting to get my hands on the inferno armor for a while now, and well tbh its pretty obvious what they're doing every couple of weeks they'll announce a new small piece of dlc and then hit us with the liara/shadow broker dlc which i mean seeing as though the audio files are there its pretty obvious thats gonna be comming however i wouldnt be suprised if it got properly announced at e3 or summin, the main thing i wanna know right now though is when are us non pc users going to get the incisor and when are we going to get that decent looking projector arc armor.

Incisor is coming soon. (Refer to earlier posts by a moderator, and read between the lines.) As for the armor I', pretty sure that N7. Let me check.

Yeah, that's N7. Though the leg pieces are a mystery to me. (I have the shoulder, chest, and arm parts.)

No. We are saying it  is not the Horizon DLC.

I like the idea of new dlc armor if it's powerful, useful and adds something creative to the gameplay. I advocate a "heavy weapon" biotic armor (or special "heavy biotic" armor upgrades that can be accessed through the power wheel) that dishes out damage on par with a heavy weapon. To me, something like that has legitimate value since it changes the way you can approach the game. As someone who received the "exclusive" inferno armor as a pre-order bonus (used it once and put it back in the closet), you can add me to the growing list that will be passing on this. Those who pre-ordered ME2 are some of the most ardent supporters of the franchise and Bioware should be careful not to alienate them.

I'll laugh when all the people that own inferno pirate this.

If it makes you feel any better, chances are they will do the same for the other pre-order DLC.

That doesn't bother me as much.  I got the rest of it free with my game anyway (besides the Incisor of course).

I'm not sure how to feel about this. I never got Inferno, so it's nice to be able to get it for a small amount, but I have to buy this pack twice if I want it on both 360 and PC. Still, it would be cheaper than buying a code on eBay (less hassle, too). But I understand how annoying this is for the people who did manage to get Inferno beforehand.

While BioWare isn't charging much for this pack, it does seem like the sort of free stuff the Cerberus Network originally promised to deliver, especially the Inferno armour.

These were my thoughts as well.
Guess who was stupid enough to buy the Inferno Armor off of eBay only a few days ago? Image IPB

I realize I've been defending this DLC, but still... that sucks. Just out of curiousity, how much did you pay?

$20 (was listed as a "Buy It Now"; didn't want to risk it being higher by trying to bid for it).  At first I was mad.  Now I find it funny.  I guess I'm just weird like that.  Still don't like the fact that they are packing it in with the other stuff.

Well then... whoops? Lesson learned? :P

For some perspective, you could have bought Mass Effect 1 off Steam for just a little over what you payed for your Inferno Armor.

People will **** no mater what. Even if this were free people would **** a brick because it's not what they wanted. The $2 just gives penny pinchers a reason to chime in though they'd do it even if it were 2 cents...

That said, somthing otehr than head gear would have been nice since there was a buttload in the dr pepper promo, love the omni-gogs....

Yep.  It'll be nice to finally have all of the DLC for this.

I hope you mean filling up the HDD on your 360, because filling up a PC hard drive is a bad-bad-bad idea.

of course i mean the 360, it's only a 20 gig and has lasted me since the 360s came out. i want a reason to get a 1 terra external HDD :wizard:

New armor? Yes pelase.

I still have a lot of left-over MS points, so the small price doesn't phase me. I'm sure a much larger mission or other DLC is comming up. Considering the game only launched back in January, I'm pleased =)

1) I don't think micro-dlc is appropriate for games that are fundamentally designed to be story and character driven. Micro-dlc lacks the substance that the fans of Bioware games want. Essentially, micro-dlc contradicts the very nature of why we like Bioware games. We want depth and substance and micro-dlc will never offer either.

2) Who is under the impression that we want to cover the faces of any character? I hate to beat a dead horse, but DLC helmet toggle outrage should have been a clear enough indicator that players don't want the faces of characters obstructed in a highly cinematic space opera. I personally play ME1+ME2 like a movie, the single last piece of armor I want is face-obstructing armor.

I do love N7 armor, but please, give us chest pieces, shoulders, gauntlets, boots, - literally anything BUT helmets.

I am really torn on if I will buy this or not, part of me wants to support Bioware, but I will never wear a single helmet - I rather take a stat loss, even on insanity, than obstruct my face. I also will never wear the inferno armor for the same reason.

Hmmm perhaps if there were more N7 pieces in there I'd consider it. And by more I mean MOAR! Also a few new patterns would have been cool...

Ah...yes...not what I expected. Will probably buy this by the time some bigger DLC is released, though.
