Well, sufficed to say, ME2 was a fantastic experience. Thing is, I want more. I bought DA's expansion and thought it was interesting, and I wouldn't mind it if Bioware gave ME 2 the expansion treatment. So, my question to you all is, would you rather have smaller DLCs or one monolithic expansion? If it was held to the same standard as ME 2 itself (the quality of story, dialog, gameplay, etc) I would definitely snatch it up.
Do you want an ME2 Expansion?

I would LOVE for there to be a long and detailed expansion.

While I would die for an expansion, I think it would take considerable resources from the making of ME3 to do it so.

Monolithic expansion that expands the main plot instead of smaller DLC anytime (Kasumi was nice though). I would gladly pay 3200 points for something that gives you new dialog, new characters, new locations, new equipment and has a meaningfull plot that has some impact and revelations about the ME universe and the Reaper threath, something like an apetizer for ME3. But for it to be worthy it would need to have around 15-20 hours of gameplay.
Edit: Oh and a raised level cap and new powers.

Agreed, I would LOVE a big expansion like was done with Awakening.

Expansion would be lovely, thanks

If it doesn't result in a delay of ME3 and contains a good story I'm for it.

I would love an expansion... but not like Awakening. I would want more from the gameplay than just another twenty hours of combat and I would definitely want options for much more interaction with the characters I'm already invested in... I certainly wouldn't want to start from scratch with an entirely new bunch.

Would ruin the trillogy feeling.
Long detailed DLC like BDtS is okay tho.

I already feel like this game is too long and over-capped on levels. If it is about Liara though I will have to buy it.

well we're basically getting that now, just one piece at a time.

Yes. It would be awesome content for after the collector base.

Of course. Most likely because an expansion would contain more meaningful content than sunglasses and visors.

One monolithic expansion.

Do I want an expansion? Do I want a reason to replay my favorite game? Do I want a chance to experiance the greatness of ME2 again with new most likely awesome material? No. That's stupid.

I'd get it as long as it was worthwhile, and not to expensive. A $40 expansion kind of turns me off, as I could almost buy a new game for that price.

No it is about the same length. I think ME2 is a little longer since every crew member seems to have a major mission. I didn't really do much planet scanning or exploration or sidequests, so I am nowhere near complete on ME2 after 44 hours whereas I could do everything in ME1 in 38 hours or less.
I probably mispoke though. I don't think the game is too long it is just right. But the story kind of lags in the 2nd disc and with such a low cap there isn't much incentive for exploration XP, only incentive for scanning for upgrades.

As long as they launch it in disc, yes!

Yeah, but it would have to be completely new. If it had game changing plot points like regular missions than it might confuse people who didn't buy it in ME3. It better be at least 15, because that was how long my ME1 speed run was.

I milked my very first run with ME2 and it was 46 hrs. Subsequent runs were between 20 -25 hrs...and that is doing everything. How can you spend 44 hrs on this game without scanning and side quests?
