Does anyone have an example script of giving a quest item to the quest giver after retrieving it?

When the plot flag for completion is set, run a couple of commands in the plot script -> one to remove the item from the PC's inventory and another to add the item to the quest giver.

A little vague for me also why do I need to add the item to the quest giver? All I really need is the item to disappear from my inventory.

You might create them on the quest giver if, for example, you wanted him to don his recovered armour.
