It was a pre-order bonus with the DD Collector's edition aswell

Actually, the Gamestop Preorder bonus was the Terminus Armor and the Blackstorm. The Inferno Armor was gotten by preordering anywhere other than Gamestop. At least, here in the US.



In other words, this includes the Inferno Armor for those who bought the game at Gamestop, and didn't bother picking up a second copy somewhere else just to get the Inferno Armor.

It gives everyone access to something that was a bonus item feature. Different headgear choices is not a bad thing. I appreciate the effort made and will support it with $$. Since the art and programming departments are handicapped, unable to work a cut scene toggle removing headgear at key moments, this is a compromise.

Actually open mouthed helmet is an interesting idea. Doesnt look TOO bad, and finally we can drink booze normally in bars.

Meh.. it's a fun little DLC. i like the archon helmet. i'm all about a 2.85 second cooldown on my adrenaline rush. Huge deal.

If I was wearing it, I'd be working with a 3.6 second cooldown on Charge. Unfortunately, I'm doing the Collector Ship Mission, so it's either the Recon Hood or the N7 Breather Helm. Those are literally my only two choices.

Although since I am currently playing DA probably won't buy it for a little (waiting for Liara DLC)

I just wish the helmet could be worn in hostile environments. I like the look of it, and would prefer it over the N7 breather helmet and Recon hood.

honestly I didn't expect this kind of wasteful DLC. I thought that it was about horizon. well, Bioware! don't play with me. so next time something DLC will be never free? if it will be happened, I won't be happy at all. I know that future DLC will be coming several times. but at least some of them should be free.

I see a lot of people making this mistake, the headline was not "What's on Horizon", the headline read "What's on the  Horizon".
Simple mistake.

Hm. Yeah, I won't pay for this. I have the Inferno Armor from my preorder and the delay before shields recharge is useless. I have never noticed it before with the Capacitor Chestplate and there are much better head pieces.



I would like the cooldown visor though.

I believe that the Firewalker Pack, the Cerberus Armor, the Eviscerator, the Arc Projector, Zaeed and the Normandy Crash Mission were free.

They have given us quite a bit of content for free and if we want high-quality DLC, we are going to have to pay for it, and rightly so.

The Inferno Armor was a free preorder incentive for video game retailers other than GameStop, and a couple other places outside the US.
