If it's called Darkspawn Chronicles it better be more than one quest.

its Chess-like DLC. DAO characters and Darkspawn as chess pieces.

Great news! I do understand why BioWare did not announce a release date for the next dlc considering how much noise it gave, when they pushed the release of RtO.

Very interesting, very interesting indeed. Play as an intelligent darkspawn? Play as your character fighting darkspawn? Something else? What will it BE?

Still no patch and yet they continue pumping out DLC.

Laughable. Just laughable.

Have you ever read the end credits - there's more than one dev team - one for fixing bugs and another for creating new products. Bioware is not 3 geeky guys programming in a garage.

Perhaps they should reassign some staff to the other group, then. Three geeky guys programming in a garage could probably do better than this.

I mean, it's only been a few months of the game being practically unplayable for some of us. Priorities are clearly off here.

It could be Leliana DLC (I see it as very likely) or an Awakening side quest (XBL does not differentiate between Awakening and Origins)

At this point I'd honestly consider buying it.

1.03 has turned me into a sad creature.

DLC and patch? That would make me very happy indeed.

Query: is this going to be like RtO where there was a big delay for PS3? Or are all those things definitely sorted with Sony?

I seriously have like no serious bugs on the PC version... really none at all, really. I think a lot of people are just nitpicking =/
Couldn't speak for the console versions, though.

But I am pretty excited for this DLC! I'll have to put some money together.

Yay MOAR DLC, from the sounds of it, it's gonna be like something like return to Ostagar and I don't mind shelling out 400 microsoft points ts for that, hope I get some new shiney armour and weapons to go along with it aswel

Mainly it is for Awakening in which some bugs are serious (looks at Joining Bug) and others are just annoying (Sword/Weapon drawn bug during cutscenes)

Some people make a big deal about it others don't care and work around them

As for what it might be if it is only for Origins then I would guess Deep Roads, if it is for Awakening then Architect DLC most likely

I see. I've only played a tiny bit of Awakening.. still haven't bought it yet. Not sure if I'm willing to fork out $40 if I can't even use my original weapons. (Since I use other DLC weapons)

Do you play PC or 360?

PC mods can get the items imported otherwise Duncan's Sword is pretty much extremely awesome and can be imported and you almost immediately get better gear (Vigilance = awesome)

I am indeed on the PC. I'll have to look into that. I use Star Fang or whatever it's called. The sword you get from the Meteorite Ore in Warden's Keep.

I wonder what this DLC will do. If it's for Origins I hope it makes the Blight seem a lot more scary. Everyone seemed to stop caring after Lothering. Not even a mention in the headlines.

It might be for Origins, that's what it's labeled as on the site. But he could have made a mistake. *sigh* we're going to have to wait for Chris to say it tomorrow aren't we?

I think it will almost definitely be for Origins, because of the way Awakening is installed and accessed.
