I seriously have like no serious bugs... really none at all, really. I think a lot of people are just nitpicking =/

But I am pretty excited for this DLC! I'll have to put some money together.

Mainly it is for Awakening in which some bugs are serious (looks at Joining Bug) and others are just annoying (Sword/Weapon drawn bug during cutscenes)

Some people make a big deal about it others don't care and work around them

I see. I've only played a tiny bit of Awakening.. still haven't bought it yet. Not sure if I'm willing to fork out $40 if I can't even use my original weapons.

Do you play PC or 360?

PC mods can get the items imported otherwise Duncan's Sword is pretty much extremely awesome and can be imported and you almost immediately get better gear (Vigilance = awesome)

I am indeed on the PC. I'll have to look into that. I use Star Fang or whatever it's called. The sword you get from the Meteorite Ore in Warden's Keep.

Starfang is what I normally use, but Topsider's Honor, Duncan's Sword, and Keening Blade replace it due to inability to import. For Armor Cailin's Armor or Leigon Armor works over Blood Dragon or Warden Commander's

I recommend it especially if this turns out to be Leliana DLC ^_^

It might be for Origins, that's what it's labeled as on the site. But he could have made a mistake. *sigh* we're going to have to wait for Chris to say it tomorrow aren't we?

Didn't a Dev say that all DLC (other than Feastday) would be playable in both? or am I mistaken?

Then again the voice actor for Lelinana did say she did some stuff for Awakening so

Yeah, true. This might be the stuff she did, if it is then I bet the other characters are included. Something called 'Darkspawn Chronicles' sounds like a extra few quests revolved around a minor storyline. Ah there I go trying to speculate again, I bet I'm wrong now Image IPB

Only for the Xbox? No mention of it for the PC. Or is a hoax? Strange nobody has heard of it.

Major Nelson is the director of programming for Xbox Live (XBL), so he only knows about XBL information.  He likely won't, nor has the capability to, leak PC or PSN dlc information.

I think it is a DLC for Origins because if it is for Awakening they have to include a post epiloque save. I can not imagine a DLC somewhere in the middle of the story of Awakening.

The DLC could pick up right after the final Awakenings boss.  This may be why there was no post kill save.  It would be nice to see some of our old friends again.  I miss them dearly! :crying:

I'm hoping it's for Origins. Unless a patch for Awakenings is released before or with it, it does not bode well to me.

Another thought popped into my head Mhairi DLC, it seems probable for some reason

It's a DLC for Origins and may come bundled with patch 1.03 like Awakenings did. It also might be a prequel for the Architect where you may encounter some of his first "experiments". You won't meet the Architect directly, but may see him in some cutscenes.

From Bioware's point of view, it would be subtle marketting for people to buy Awakenings. This is all conjecture on my part, but . . . would fall in line with their grand scheme! Bwahahahahahha!

That is another important point. I think everybody in this forum owns Origins but only a part Awakening.  For maximum profit an Origin-DLC is more likely then an Awakening-DLC.

I was referring more to the freezing gremlins that have infultrated the PS3 DA universe.

i dont think so, a lot of people, me too, have played through origins more than 2 times. i think most people wont play origins again just for an 45 - 60 min dl content, so only few people will buy it.

of course you are right, that (much) less people have awakening then origins, but all these people dont have played through awakening that often (exspecially because they are waiting for a patch which fixes a lot of bugs, me included). a additional dlc for awakening makes sense in my opinion so. most people who have awakening will indeed buy the dlc, before starting there next playthrough

Maybe it's the long awaited patch, packaged free of bugs for only one easy payment of $4.99!

I don't see the logic behind your post.
If the DLC is for Origins (and is playable with the epiloque save like RtO) almost everybody here could buy it. In case of an Awakening -DLC only a part of the community could buy it what means less money.

because there are more people with origins who CAN buy the dlc is NOT equivalent to the point that more people WILL BUY the dlc if its for origins

i am for instance definitely interested if the dlc is for awakening because i want to play it again anyway; but i dont need another dlc for origins. i am not interested to play the latter again.

well, lets see what comes tomorrow ;)

If it comes bundled with 1.03, I won't buy it. I don't want any add-ons that fundamentally change gameplay in the core game.

I already undid the spell nerfs from 1.02, but 1.03 changes the engine, and I can't mod that out.

It seems pretty much guaranteed that it will require 1.03 (RtO already does) so... bummer. Hopefully they'll release the new patch before then.

I just hope that this has some impact on Awakening, or they include with it a patch that makes DLC armor accessible in Awakening.

How about a patch that makes Awakening Armor available in Awakening?

*looks at Sentinel Armor*

I'm just speculating here, but perhaps this new dlc will take place after Origins and before Awakening. This could make up for the lack of continuity that many people find in Awakening. It also makes sense for Leliana and/or Zevran to be in the game as well since it might explain why the Warden is no longer with either of them

Well too bad I can't buy it since my ps3 version of DA won't work (and no, it's not the firmware update, it was the awakening patch)

Let me guess, we will soon have developers appearing in the tech forums saying they are looking into the bugs.
