I just hope that this has some impact on Awakening, or they include with it a patch that makes DLC armor accessible in Awakening.
How about a patch that makes Awakening Armor available in Awakening?
*looks at Sentinel Armor*
I didn't have one problem with that armour. I found it on the quest I needed to do for it. The armour looks great. I love it. Justice is wearing it.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and state I think alot of these bugs are people's video cards and how it reads the game. I might be wrong.

Hmm. Will Starfang and the Warden Commander Armour be removed from us upon entering this DLC quest too, I wonder?

No offense, but having a "bad" or "poor" video card doesn't cause a game to substitute one graphical model for another graphical model. It could make it look crappy, render poorly, slow your framerate to molasses, but it won't do that.
Sentinel Armor does not look right on nonhumans, even it does fine on Justice or human PCs. And that's not the fault of anybody's video card. Nor is their card causing Starfang and Vigilance to swap models.

No offense taken. I wasn't fully sure how they worked, thanks for the information. It was something I was wondering about.
As well as 360 users, having the problem. So it can't be entirely related to hardware deviation.
*sigh* Hopefully it's got a patch that fix the myriad of problems, it'd be nice to be able to play the damn game again.

Well you just take out the motherboard, rip out the RSX then solder on a new one. Maybe a Fermi derivative?vonFurious wrote...
I also wouldn't have the slightest idea what to do with your video card, seeing as there is no place to put it in my Ps3...

Tell you the truth, after slaughtering five thousand or so Darkspawn already, I may not be particularly looking foward to battling more of em. And how come I've never seen a darkspawn female? how do these things reproduce anyhow?

I'm guessing you haven't even finished DAO yet. Go play some more.jase1976 wrote...
Anybody know if this DLC is for Awakenings or Origins or both? I'm still holding off on buying Awakenings, at least until the next patch (which I hope will be available to download at the same time the DLC is released).

If it comes bundled with 1.03, I won't buy it. I don't want any add-ons that fundamentally change gameplay in the core game.
I already undid the spell nerfs from 1.02, but 1.03 changes the engine, and I can't mod that out.
It seems pretty much guaranteed that it will require 1.03 (RtO already does) so... bummer. Hopefully they'll release the new patch before then.
RtO doesn't require patch 1.03. It runs just fine on 1.02.
If the new DLC requires 1.03 it will be yet another one I cannot use. FeastDay DLC needed 1.03, as does Awakening & I can't run either of them. The PC tech support forums seem to be getting ignored.

Yes, but in terms of timing, it's not uncommon for a patch to coincide with a new DLC package, whether you actually buy the DLC or not. That is all people mean, I don't think anyone expects Bioware to charge for a patch and call it DLC.Siradix wrote...
All this talk about bundling a patch with a dlc is silly. If they are going to release a patch, it will be separate. The xbox360 places all patches in the cache while dlcs are placed in a separate section with other downloaded games. Adding another executable to install the patch with the dlc will just make the file larger than it needs to be.

The last things you'll hear:
Leliana: I try to be merciful! (as she plugs you with an arrow in the eye)
Leliana: Brilliant!!
