Yes because a different perspective for the simple sake of fun is never a good idea... And do you have any idea how hard some people are for a werewolf mod?Krister_DK wrote...
Great idea to let us play the role of the Darkspawn... then I look forward to the future DLC's "Return of the Werewolf" and "Revenge of the Giant Spiders"... I have a small hope that its just a bad joke.

There is going to be a werewolf mod AND shifter will be fixed? Seriously? You are not ****ting me are you cause that will make me cry, and no one wants to see a grown man cry. Holy crap, this will be the best dlc dragon age will have for me.

Eh, just means you're not as weird as some of us. I personally think it would be great to have a monster class that works instead of the much failed shifter spec.Dargar21 wrote...

I am sure they won't leave Dargar's fetish out.Zy-El wrote...
Next DLC is "Devil May Care" where you play a Desire Demon who uses her *charms* to enthrall a small town. You have the ability to control Templars and summon Fade Demons to do your bidding. Your armor is limited to little, scant, faint and thong.
Orlesian Boot Lick! Then he too can have pretty feet with Leliana. I'd hate to be a freak with a DLC when his awkward fetish goes unanswered.

Hmmm, not sure what to make of this dlc. I'll wait and see. Would be nice to slap Morrigan around for lots of reasons.

I wonder if we are really ever going to see the type of DLC that was promised prior to release. The kind of thing that adds more options for the main campaign.

Don't think anybody was expecting this.
So we get to play the "other side," attacking & killing the people of Denerim? It's Dungeon Keeper, but I find this one less funny.
And it apparently is set in some kind of alternative universe/timeline where our Warden never existed, YET finishing it "unlocks" something in Awakening. Yay?
On the bright side, as an Ogre, I finally get to USE Grab instead of having it used ON me.
Man oh man oh man one thought keeps going through my head.... "Horsie Armor Round 2" ...
Worst news of all: I really dread that the "Darkspawn Chronicles" title means this is the first of a series.
BIo, we get it. This was an absolutely clever way to release new content without having to bring back a single VA other than whatever you use to make the "hnh hnh hnh" sound the unintelligent darkspawn make. Oh and the screams of the massacred people.
But, man oh man oh man ... I really am dreading if this is the start of a trend. Especially as there's not the least bit of a hint of an associated patch with this ... module.

Can't believe people are seriously considering buying this DLC after what happened with Awakenings *which is still not fixed*.
Can't cure new toy syndrome, ignore the failings.
In any case I think the perspective proposed in the DLC will be a refreshing change of pace, sort of. I wonder exactly how running over the same terrain again and again will work out. I mean multiple playthroughs aside. Doesn't anyone else develop a stale taste? Awakenings at least introduced new terrain no doubt some recycled statics but at least exploration was fresh. To trounce around the same hallways we did before doesn't strike me as... well, new and exciting I guess is how I would put it.
Still hoping my worries will be allayed and I'm just being negative about it. Be sure that whoever buys this reviews it for us!

Also, not even considering purchasing unless we get a good patch, etc.

But it doesn't seem they're playing this as camp at all. You're really supposed to enjoy switching sides and massacring the people of Denerim. I know people have been asking to "play evil" but this to me is going a bit far.
I would have played an intelligent darkspawn (like the Messenger) playing for "my" team. I see no joy in switching sides and playing for the "other" team, which seems to enjoy mindlessly killing innocent people. And whose main dialogue (pre-"awakening") seems to go like this....
1. (you) hnhn hnhn hnhnh
2. (ogre) rrrrrrawwwwwwr
3. (you) hnh hnnh hnnh
4. (shriek) shreeeeeeeek
5. (archdemon) mrrrrrraawwwwwr
6. (you) hnhn hnhn hnhn
7. ogre approves +10!

If this system was put in I might buy it without reading the bug reports.
