I just can't justify the International shipping either unfortunately. A shame because I would love the Collector's edition ones too. Ahwell, maybe they'll turn up on ebay cheaper than the shipping cost is.

these are kinda cool... but a patch for the 360 so i can play this game and actually finish it this time would be way cooler. any chance you guys can work on somthing like that bioware? when your not busy with DLC and sourcing trinkets maybe??

Swords are cool, I think I have a few birthday/christmas present ideas now (My girlfriend would love the sword)



And people whining about patches, the people that code this program and the people responsible for merchandise are 2 different groups that work seperated from each other.



What do you expect them to do, take a sales person and stick them infront of a computer and tell them to fix it? Personally my game works fine, my friends works fine, most people with a bit of work can get their computers working fine from what I have read.

Wouldnt want the risk of the handle falling off and having to wait about 6 months for a patch sorry for it to be fixed lol

that would be better than whoever they currently have working on it... wich seems like nobody.

and i said for the 360, if i had the pc version i wouldnt have to ask for patches so i could finish the game, the community took care of the pc for bioware.

Btw: Do you have any news on when we will see a new pc-patch, so that we can play the game again? As you probably know it is not possible to play the game after 1.03 without random crashing - even with the very best computers. Take a look at the support-forum.

If you look at the support forums too, there is several posts that people including my self have put up to help stop the crashing after the 1.03 patch.  I did some minor fixes and no more crashes.

Back to the topic at hand.  I already ordered the Warden version of the sword, today.  This will definetly be a nice addition to my collection.

Aren't there supposed to be figures coming out as well? I can remember seeing something about figures somewhere, but I can't remember where. Am I dreaming, or can anyone shed some light on this?

ah yes another way to bring in more money from selling game items, kinda like cartoons that are the 30 minute commercial for a new toy or line of toys.

i do not care about being cool because i just got the latest and greatest dragon age goodie.

fix the game, then i might think about buying some DLC but not before.

i hope that your after market sales do so poorly that EA decides to scrap the dragon age franchise!

you want to bring in more money? give us a game that we can actually play and enjoy, not something that got shoved out the door before it was finished.

Well, after sending a complaint to EpicWeapons about the shipping costs they were nice enough to issue a coupon code for a discount on shipping to the Netherlands. Shipping costs are still high but the collector's swords are really nice.

That international shipping is waaaay too expensive. Guess I will have to settle for the standard ones, wonder why BioWare aren't selling the CE ones on their website?

Well that's all good if you play on pc, but if you play on a console they've basicly told us to f**k off. As for the fixes, we know that it's different groups, but the question is about resources, they have the money for all this marketing, useless contests, and dlc, plus rushing out more games (ME3,DA2,ToR), the question now is, how much , if any, resources are actually being put into fixing the game? In seven months they've done nothing to fix the major bugs present since day one, yet they can release and expansion and multiple dlc before simple fixes for the game.

For those in Canada who want the collectors editions there is a UPS Standard shipping option for $15 rather then the $50 Express. Might take a little longer but for the price difference I can wait., I got both collectors editions and a couple stands for $70 with shipping. Also the costs have dropped recently, when I ordered my Collectors editions they were around $25/opener now they appear to be around $15.



That said I ordered almost 2 weeks ago, the order was apparently "Completed" last week yet still no word as to when it will ship or any kind of tracking information and my request to Epic Weapons has as of yet gone unanswered, have to wait and see for a bit longer.

Lucky, I just got my order... 2 collector's edition with stands, ended up costing around $110 due to the high shipping and $30 of duties... And they are rather smaller than I expected too

I renounced to the collectors edition due to shipping costs to Europe too, and bought then from Bioware's site. Yes they are a bit too small for my taste (I would have prefered them to be in a 1/3 scale, but anyway that's for other reasons) but specially the darkspawn one is amazing. I would love to see other designs in the future. And that Bioware site had the Collector Edition ones available too, since their shipping costs are more reasonable (and you can purchase a T-shirt to go with them too and save even a bit more ;P)
