Well, my system is more than good enough to run the game, and it does run it perfectly smooth for the first 10-20 minutes, and then the stuttering/lag hits out of nowhere - this lasts for 3-5 minutes then goes back to smooth for 3-5 minutes and then lag 3-5 minutes etc etc. My nvidia drivers and nvidia physx drivers are up to date, as is every other program related to graphics that i can think of. I have the exact same problem in Dragon Age, so i guess its an engine problem. Ive tried all the "solutions" from all the other threads i cant find and nothing works - help!
unexplainable periodic lag/stuttering (different from other topic)

You have posted the same thread in the ME1 XBox&PC support board and in the ME2 XBox support board, what game exactly do you mean?
Also, Dragon Age does not use the same engine as Mass Effect 1&2. So if the problem occurs in both games, then you have a problem with your system, not with the game.

In your duplicate message thread for Dragon Age, your failure to provide appropriate information had already been called to your attention.

A similar link, but for Mass Effect 1, is included below, unlinked at present, since you should ALREADY have read that previous answer before posting this duplicate here.

This thread's author chose to ignore the preferred manner of including information; however, should this show up in anyone's search, the most likely cause was using a below-minimum PC, probably a laptop, that kept cycling into an overheated condition, slowed itself down to cool off, and then had to repeat that process over and over, but we'll never know with certainty, since he / she never came back.
