KoP - yes, I'm wondering how long I'll play ME2 for. I loved ME enough to play it something like 9 or 10 times and whilst I want to try out all the romances etc, there's only so many times I can sit and scan planets. I miss the longer conversations and bigger moral dilemmas of the first game and, indeed, Dragon Age.

I mean sure I've played 10-15 hours of the day....for a few days. Planed dialog trees while trying to sleep. Worked out the order I was going to complete quests at work. Have my next 5 characters played through their origins until Ostagar....along with the 5 others that have been played up until the final battle.....and while I'm waiting on an upgrade for my computer's video card, have shared custody with my husband for the PS3 on our days off (he plays on Sat me on Sun, etc) And yes I have DA:O and Awakenings for both PS3 and PC ......But no I wouldn't call myself an addict...more like an enthusiast.....yeah. An enthusiast who has given almost a week of their life to an awesome video game.
....Also I bought the Grey Warden letter opener......but that just looked cool!

1 play through as a rogue.
Played through every origin.
Played through Awakening once. Patch 1.03 is so bugged though I went back to Origins 1.02a. I will not play Awakening again until it is debugged, but it was worth my time. Not as good as Origins - but it's an expansion so I did not expect as much. I'd sing Awakening's praises is patch 1.03 would be fixed . . . IT'S BEEN SINCE MARCH! Two TWO TWOOOOO MONTHS!

Have no interest in playing any more until the game really is working correctly.....never thought Id ever say that about a Bioware PC game....
I feel your pain with Awakening. Like I said - I just reinstalled and got patch 1.02a from a satellite site.

Yeah the bugs since 1.03 are the only thing that have dampened my playing. Was up to the final battle with the archdemon playing as a Dwarf Noble for the first time and the bloody thing crashed just it was about to die.
I truly can't believe they can release a patch so long ago and not have fixed the issues associated with it and the issues it didn't fix in Awakening.

I've found a new pleasure in playing through solo. I was always reluctant because I enjoy the roleplaying aspect as much as the gameplay, but I've found that it is actually quite fun roleplaying as a dwarven noble who won't accept help from surfacers (or Oghren, because he's a drunken fool who's more likely to get her killed than help her fight). It also adds a huge amount of strategy and planning to the game, not just in terms of combat, but in carefully planning my steps so that I can build my characters power and wealth without getting into situations I'm not ready for. Been at it for 20 hours now and have yet to do a single treaty mission. Having sooo much fun. Looking forward to trying a solo mage next.

Enthusiast, yes that is exactly the perfect description for us who have spent an insane amount of hours on this game! And guilty here have both games for both xbox and PC.

Uh huh I am fully addicted and all other games even my beloved Fable does not compare. It sit untouched for 5 months now. Any free time I have is on the laptop with DragonAge. Or if hubby not home a saturday morning round of DragonAge turns into an all day affair. I am on my tenth play through on the xbox and first play through on PC. Downloading mods for the PC left and right and I wonder why my husband was actually annoyed with me the other night by asking "Can't you play something else for once?" In fact I am searching for mods now while posting this. There is no eating or going to the bathroom, bodily functions do not exist. Only coffee and DragonAge, so sweet and addicting we can't just wait to get our next game fix. Andraste's ass is there a DAO anonymous therapy group? Do you think any of us need therapy? Nahhhhhhhhhh!
My husband has said the same thing to me.

And just think, when you're sick of HNF there's another gender and five other Origins to try. The Dalish one's kind of boring but the other ones are fun.ElvaliaRavenHart wrote...
Add me to the list. I'm stuck on playing HNF rogue and I can't seem to do anything else. Just trying to better my score.

I seem to be incapable of putting this game down. I've completed the game twice as a mage and yet I'm still tempted to play another mage character. I currently have two rogue and two warrior characters working their way through the game too, and that's not including all the characters I've started and then given up on for want of a better build. I don't even know how many times I've been through the Korcari Wilds and the Tower of Ishal.
I finished one Awakenings playthrough and went straight back to Origins
I have Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead 2 and Fallout 3 waiting to be played, but I'm having too much fun with Dragon Age!
It definitely has more replay value than the KOTOR & NWN games....combined.

I haven't played for weeks! Mainly because I have to work on my exam project.. Which is not going too well cause I keep thinking about playing. Or coming back to this forum to look! Even started reading The Stole Throne.
During this horrible break I started feeling a biiit like a Darkspawn. I hear the Archdeamon calling too. It sings to me! "Cooome plaay! Comeee kiiiill meeee"
