The way I see it, the more Wardens I have, the more I get to play a truly awesome game. And, I'll be able to play Awakening even more times when I eventually pick that up. My end goal is one Warden of each sex, for each origin. I would try to play an equal amount of all classes, but rogues and mages are so much more fun to me.

Bump, my apologies, had to hit this thread, after a four day vacation from the computer, I couldn't resist. I am not specifically a Dragon Age addict, but I am an addict for stories.
Call me a Noveholic if you will :o

I can't get away from it and I have been playing nonstop since it came out. I almost had it beat as the Xbox lost appeal but then I got the PC version and started using mods and I spend every waking moment not working in front of this game I dream about it I constantly put myself in the characters position. A song came on the radio in the car yesterday I was so biummed because my mage in love with Leiliana in an effort to protect her from the dragon defiled the ashes. On the 30 minute drive I was daydreaming about how that would have gone down and then this song came on with a refrain "your everything to me" and I started crying. my poor mage woefully and stupidly miscalculated. What a perfectly delicious tragedy,.

I have sooo many Wardens, I have to put together a scorecard to keep track of which one did and did not do this or that or who's the love interest or NONE at all if the LI died.  Gahhh!!  Alistair or Loghain?  Free the Circle or not?  Marry Anora/Alistair or not?
A spreadsheet would be handy.  Gotta know all these things in order to decide which character to play forward as the story continues in the next expansion (ie Golems of Armarrack, Dragon Age 2 and other expansions). Posted Image

I am most definitely a Dragon Age Addict. I have played very little else since last October =P. I put this longevity largely down to the copious fan-mods around. Either wya I need to stop soon, but I might start getting withdrawal symptoms.

I got the game in November, played it pretty much nonstop through January, got sick of playing, then just started another playthrough two weeks ago (but with all the wonderful fanmade bugfixing mods now).

I think about 99% of what I have drawn since November has been Dragon Age fanart. T3T I had this original webcomic I was supposed to be working on but it's pretty much died since Dragon Age ate my brain...

I am almost obsessive-compulsive in my game playing. I think it stems back from the 90s when I wrote for PC games magazines and had a limited amount of time to play each game before I had to write my review and move on to something else.

These days I can play a game for months - I'll try all the character classes, all the companions, the romances (if there), quests and various paths through the game if applicable (though there are times when I can't bring myself to do certain things - I can be renegade, in an ME sense, but there are certain evil things I can't get enjoyment from doing, so I skip them). I am into double figures on DA; I think I went through ME1 12 times and ME2 8, and I've lose count of my BGII runs. I went through BGII about 14 times before I discovered mods and became part of that community. I'd say I'd played it through over 30 times now.

Just take a look at my profile, I have each gender for each possible origin, plus my first playthrough character. I plan on playing them all. Yes, I'm addicted. >.>

I might qualify as one, but I'll never admit it or consider myself as one.

I guess I am. Not by judging the hours that I play it, but the ridiculous planning that goes on when I'm not. I've thought about what the best ending for my next main warden playthrough (HNF, again) is for a few days now. I've taken everything into consideration, and have came to the conclusion there's no happy-sunshine ending choice, everything has some sort of bad thing along with it. But I was talking about my addiction. Yes. I am. :P

I remember sitting on the couch the night before Thanksgiving having spent forever frustratedly fighting the Archdemon. The second the credits starting, I was gearing up for a new playthrough. It never really got better

Let's see -- something in the neighborhood of 25 mods, five DLCs, the expansion, the fact that I've replied already to at least four of these threads AND that I have at least 7 characters in various stages of the game right now, not including the dozen or so who've finished at least DA:O. Yeah, I think I qualify. "My name is Janni, and I'm a Dragon Age addict."

EDIT:  I'm going to start keeping a document with my standard replies to these threads so that I can copy and paste.  I can't seem to pass one up....lol
