Basic stuf but I don't know what you've tried.
Did you install to hard drive or do you play from the discs?
Can you still play other games?
Can you delete the DLC?
If you can delete the DLC can you play ME2 after?
If you can't delete the DLC can you move your saved games somewhere safe and nuke everything?
That's all I've got to start with but maybe it'll help.

I can use the inferno armour , i can't play mass effect 2 if i equip either of the 2 helmets , my xbox is working fine with other games , i tryed the helmets on both my discs and on diferent player profiles and still got this issue ,
i got pointed here but bioware doesnt seem to really care about 360 user's as you can see from the small ammount of tech threads...

What I understand is you go into your cabin to choose armor appearance, when the slider reaches the DLC helmets it crashes the whole xbox forcing you to do a restart? Is this correct?
Also BioWare doesn't handle the technical issues, EA does. These forums are not tech forums, they are support forums where other gamers might be able to help. Besides this doesn't sound like a BioWare issue, it sounds more like a corruption in the download. Clearing the cache might be the way to go if you've tried everything else.

So what is happening is when you try to equip the two new DLC helmets, your xbox crashes / freezes? But Mass Effect 2 plays fine without any issues UNLESS you try to equip the helmets?

I can always email EA tech support,

It shouldn't wipe any save games, and it shouldn't permanently wipe your achievements, but they will dissapear until they are re-downloaded from Xbox Live.
The content you have downloaded still remains. So it might be worthwhile going into your system tab, memory, harddrive and removing the DLC from in there. (I think it should be accessible in there. Don't do Format unless you want to lose everything and start from scratch.)
It's up to you, I would try to remove the DLC firs, so it at least removes the game breakage. If this fixes the problem then try re-downloading it. If this doesn't work, email tech support and wait for a reply from them. Be as specific as possible when explaining to them what is happening and what you have tried.
Otherwise here is the link to remove the cache if you want to follow that path first.

Edit : Here is the link for deleting content.

If for some reason you cannot access your X-Box live did you know that all of the downloads even the ones you have paid for are unavailable and you cannot even load a game that has used that content?! Nice to see that Bio-Ware has sunk to the same level as Microsoft.

That's only true if you're not playing on the Xbox you downloaded the content to in the first place. I play offline just fine.
Sounds like you have a licensing issue.

This advice is much better than mine.Icinix wrote...
No, it isn't re-downloading the DLC. It's actually a process that clears all the patches and updates. It's sort of an extreme method to resolve screw ups with updates etc.

Aye, because the only time Im ever online with my Xbox live is when im downloading content. Other than that, I remain offline and can access my content just fine.

Really? Hmm, interesting. Every time i try playing offline it tells me the downloaded files are corrupt and I cannot access them. So you can access Katsumi and that other guy without being online? hm, guess you have a special account or something.
You don't need any special account. If you download *any* DLC using another xbox (say a friend's console, or perhaps your old xbox that went kaput and got replaced or upgraded), that DLC will only be usable while you are logged into LIVE. That's because all DLC downloads are linked to one console's serial number as well as one gamertag. So if a DLC was downloaded using a different machine, while logged onnto your gamertag, the DLC becomes linked to 1) your gamertag and 2) another console. And in that circumstance your console cannot verify that the DLC is authorised while offline.
If you want to play your DLC offline again, you need to perform a license migration: http://www.xbox.com/...censemigration/

Awesome.
Edit : Removed this line in case it was assumed my head was of epic proportions, well it is, but not that much.
So I'll take it you won't be leading a law suit against bioware?
