[Dragon Age1103]

  How many High Dragons are there that give you a scale before you start the main quest? I only have 1 scale from the Temple Ruins Near Haven & Felmmoth didn't give me one. Also could ne1 plz tell me the specs of Dragon Scale Armor from Wade?

You can get such loot from Dragonkin in general, the scales commonly found in Drakes.

Yeah, you only need one Dragonscale to make dragonskin armor

oh I must of just been too tired & didn't notice b/c I had 5 drake scales & one high dragon scale. I'l go try now to craft the armor. Thanks everyone for the responses

In order to get the armor guy to make you Dragonscale armor he will first have had to make you 2 sets of Drakescale armor. EACH Drakescale armor takes 3 Drakescales so you are missing one. There are only 6 in game from what I have found. And only one Dragonscale.

Sorry to be so noobish but I've completed the sacred ashes quest but I totally sided kolgrim and his crew so I could attain the reaver specialization but I didn't even have a chance to fight the dragon and I wanna kill me a dragon, is there another way to initiate the fight with the dragon?

I don't know if it's still an option but I killed Kolgrim as soon as I left the temple and he dropped a horn that says it's for summoning the dragon. I haven't tried it but I assume it works to do just that hehe. If you can still initiate combat with Kolgrim you can probably fight the dragon.

I think if you go back and hit the gong once u enter the mountaintop she comes down to fight you

the smith needs two practice sessions with drake scales before he'll do the dragon scale armor. you get all you need from Haven

I cast tempest on the damn thing, it actually reached the top where the high dragon was, made it come down fast enough.



Another way would maybe be to steal the horn with your Rogue from kolgrim. If done unnoticed, you can befriend them and still fight the dragon.
