not sure about a "bromance", but my favorite character is justice. i really hope he comes up in more games/dlc. i think there's so much bioware can do with him. since he's a spirit, he can come up no matter when the sequel takes place. if thre's another expansion, i hope they find a way to bring him back again.
Which Dragon Age character would you have a bromance with?

Is a bromance sort of like having a best friend of the same gender?
Even closer than that. A bromance is when two guys are in love but the relationship is strictly platonic and non sexual in nature.
Think of it as a loving relationship between two brothers or a son and his father.
Edit:I think an even better analogy would be like a wife whose husband becomes paralyzed but refuses to leave him because she loves him.
There can be no sex involved but the love is still there.
A very common, but ill-informed, misconception. Paralysis does not necessarily result in a non-responsive penis but even when it does there are still many other ways in which to be intimate and many other body parts involved in sex. People do not become sexless objects.

Oghren. That's DAO Oghren, not the lame caricature known as Awakenings Oghren.
He was the only character who would stand by my protagonist to the bitter end regardless of what happened. The only way to get rid of Oghren is to boot him out of the party OR be constantly and pointlessly mean to him enough to get -100 loyalty. And I generally don't play a dick for zero reason.

I thought Oghren was pretty much the same in Awakening personality wise.

Sten.. that man is pure awesome. I admire his dedication, and his focus.

Sten is bromance nr 1. He struggles with the emotional part though:(

Well I guess if other non-humans like Sten and Oghren can count as bromances, there is no reason Dog can't.

Tie between Sten and Alistair. Both where very good friends to the Warden.

I think Sten makes a great Bromance choice. The reason why is because he's so cold and distant when you first meet him that you know that his eventual respect and gratitude towards you was well earned and genuine.
That speech Sten gives right before you fight the last boss...absolutely epic. Oghren's was great too.

Well, I'm gay, so I'm more likely to have a "bromance" with a woman, but I do tend to end up having a bromance with Alistair, because I'm trying to romance him but he thinks it makes us friends....

I got two buddies in a bromance IRL.
Describe it?
Picture a Field, with a fence going down the middle.
one side is Heterosexuality, the other homosexuality.
On the top of the fence is a tetor-toter, that can spin in a 360 degree motion, go side to side, and up and down, with two lunatics going nuts on it.
That is basically what the bromance is like with them.
It scares me.

I'd have to say.. Alistair is sarcasm is what fits pretty much my Cousland male especially since the hard time of wanting to kill Howe. But for Awakenings most likely Anders for the same reason since King Alistair gets a bit snooty on ya lol

I always thought Anders was pretty much the same as Alistair personality wise except Alistair is more insecure. Both make great bromance options.

The biggest bros in the game for me are Alistair and Oghren...and to a lesser extant Zevran.
But everytime I'm nice to Zev he always takes it the wrong way and thinks I'm gay for him...

I would love to hang out with Zevran, go wenching, whatever - he would be a fun person to have around. But I probably have more in common with Alistair - he being more of an average guy.
