Alistair and my Human Noble were total bros. I even managed to capture this excellent screenshot of the two back to back, with a circle of dead darkspawn at their feet. Twas most epic.Image IPB

Edit: And since I played my character as if he were me, I figure we'd probably get along pretty well.

Agreed, the handsome gent to your left had a bromance with alistair and I imagine they were both totally bumbed when Riordan gave them the news about the Archdemon. SPOILER Hence my warden jumping at the OGB option. Saving your hide as well as your best friends AND getting it on with an attractive woman? What's wrong with that? Oh ya.... offspring with demon superpowers. **** it, we'll cross that hurdle when we get to it (and we better get to that hurdle in DA2 or so help me g-d.)

Alistair and I would be "best buds" as he and I seem to have the same sense of humour... That being said, a small warning tho:

Clearly "bromance" is not the best word to use around here as it seems to flair up some homophobia...
I think the better word would be "best friends" or "best buds".  Image IPB

Anyhoo, as you have read, a few of the "straight males" around here seem to get spooked rather easily
(read comments above...) so let's just forget this bromance stuff-we'll blame it on the beer- and let's just stay with best buds!

Plus everyone knows you can't love your best friend or bud!!
That just sounds creepy! Image IPB

Nothing more then a fist bump here! Image IPB

I'd rather not censor myself because some people misinterpret the definition of a bromance.

It's platonic, meaning it is not gay.

Oh, god. Could you imagine a bromance with Justice where you go out to the bar and get him some action? I could see it being an achievement "Epic wing man".

Awesome. Maybe I should be hanging out with Zevran, he might just be able to get me some cute red head bard playing my wingman ... not like Leliana was that difficult to seduce, and with him giving me pointers ... And if nothing else, we could go visit his ship Captain friend at the brothel.

Bromance--totally freaky word that I would never use to express a budding (non-homosexual) relationship with another male.

Me, I always get along more with older males (heck, I volunteer at a retirement home) than guys around my age--19. I would say that Loghain would've been my better friend once the whole landsmeet issue was solved; although, Oghren was very much a welcomed friend up until Awakening.

I think once people have had the pleasure of experiencing a bromance, they become much less freaked out by it.

A bromance is a great, emotionally healthy activity since it allows men to share manly love together to fulfill that void that may exist with their spouse or significant other due to natural gender differences in interests.

A bromance basically completes a man's social life.

I only know what a Tutu is. It's a mod for BG.

No idea about Tatu.
