Hey guys, I apologise in advance if this issue has already been addressed. I checked through a few pages and didn't find anything, so I thought i'd post a new topic.
So I purchased the DA:O Awakenings expansion from the PSN store here in New Zealand, about a month ago. I had no problem downloading it and installing it, but once I went into the main menu of the game, and into the DLC sub-menu I saw nothing there. There was also no option on the main menu for additional quests. I had this same issue with the DLC which came with the game, but frankly I couldn't care less, as it was free. But when I pay a substantial amount of money on something like Awakenings, I expect it to work.
Now, i've been in contact with EA and received a large amount of troubleshooting, which I kindly went through. I reset my router, turned off media server, created a new PSN ID, deleted game Data, deleted Save Game Data (WHICH REALLY SUCKS), un-installed and reinstalled (several times), re-downloaded Awakenings (several times) and still no go with the game. According to the troubleshooting ive received, Bioware believe its a connectivity issue with the Bioware servers, but my link between my PSN ID and EA was confirmed (on both my original and old PSN Id's). The Bioware website is even showing my trophies, so a link must surely be there.
I'm sure i've tried a dozen other things that I cannot remember as this has been like a ping pong game between me and Bioware. And don't get me started on the Chat service centre, they were completely useless. They just brushed me off. They told me I just have to wait for a solution which is being worked on, but I was told by another EA rep, that the solution being worked on is for the smaller DLC (blood Armour etc) and not the expansion (Awakenings). I just find this whole thing unacceptable.
So yeah, that's my issue, been going on for about a month and a half now. Anyone else had this issue? Or a solution?
Awakenings - Downloaded and Installed, but not showing up in DLC sub-menu

Awakening isn't treated as another quest, it's a new game. Try starting a new game and see if the split screen comes up to decide between DA:O and DA:A.
I saw that you deleted your saved game so it should have come up when you began again but if you started a new character before reloading Awakening it may not have. Since you didn't mention looking there I just wanted to make certain you weren't looking for it in all the wrong places.

Heya mate, thanks for the reply. Yeah I also tried that out, but it just takes me straight to the Origins game. No select screen. I still think I still have to do something in the DLC Sub-Menu, but nothing shows up. Thanks again dude.

Wish I could help...But I'm on the PC.
Out of curiosity, have you gotten any other dlc to work? And are you fully patched to the latest avaliable version of the game for your platform?(yes, sometimes the obvious can be the soloution but...)
Best of luck to you bud.

The same happened to me with an Australian DA:O disc and Awakenings downloaded from the US PSN. Are you mixing regions?

Yeah I got the latest patch as I like staying online when I play (you cannot stay online with the PS3 unless you have the latest game patch). Oh, and no to the other DLC question. But I've been told those other DLC issues are somewhat of a different issue to the Expansion issue. But hey, thanks for the best wishes dude.
Hey retro, nah I got my DA:O disk from a NZ store (EBGames) and my Awakenings off the NZ PSN. So there shouldn't be an issue there.

tell me about it! Not cool in the slightest. I think EA thinks the same thing as they haven't replied to my questions. Seems they're stuck too. Dammit.
