If you could romance a Awakenings character, who would it be?

And Sigrun because she's adorable.

That would really only ever work out if you're playing a Dalish.Zy-El wrote...
Velanna for sure. She is capable of love and hate. Would like to hear that sharp tongue of hers soften for once.

Well she flirts with Nathaniel so she's not a total bigot.
We can imagine a "defrosting Velanna" story I'm sure.
Personally, I'd love to rescue her sister.
On a related note, if you don't make Nathaniel a Grey Warden, then a female Couseland could solve the "we can't have an heir" problem of her and Alistair.

Nathaniel and Sigrun definitely. Nate is so broody but chivalrous and noble, he just screams 'sexy character', and Sigrun is fun to be around and is just so adorable!

...they do it from behind?
Bad puns galore!

Do you mean if you don't make Anders a Warden? Anders looks and acts so much like Alistair, I think that actually
could work, unless the child inherits the maginess.

Nathaniel and Alistair don't look at all alike...I'd be more likely to choose Anders for that 'duty,' although the possibility of the mage gift breeding true would naturally be an issue.

There's a difference between harmless flirting (Teagan certainly never really makes a move) and feeling that she's betraying her culture and contributing to the destruction of her race by ending up with a human or a dwarf. Maybe she might be okay with a city elf or elven mage but it's not necessarily so much a matter of bigotry as it is 'elves reproducing with humans/dwarves lead to humans'dwarves.' Not to mention she wants children - Dalish children - and so if she finds out about the lowered reproduction and the fact it's just not going to happen between two Wardens...I think those things are more important to her than her hormones.Well she flirts with Nathaniel so she's not a total bigot.

Velenna isn't going to rejoin the Dalish elves. As far as she's concerned, she's an outcast to them as a whole and doesn't intend to breed anyway. Remember, she's an outcast to her people that got a bunch of them killed with her vengeance quest.

She still considers herself one of them and is upset she missed her chance to apologize (but you can convince her its not too late just because the Keeper is dead). And even if she doesn't rejoin THAT clan, there are others. And of course she intends to have children; when you tells you how jealous she is that her people don't have stories like the humans/dwarves do and then you give her the blank journal and explain it's for stories, she mentions future children she would like to have. She's writing that book of Dalish stories for them. And since the only reason she was exiled was her overly bitter attitude towards humans was dangerous, if she calms down about humans as she does in one of the available epilogues and ends up saving a human village, that issues resolves itself.Velenna isn't going to rejoin the Dalish elves. A romance with a human would presumably eventually become about the idea that one can love the Dalish elves and NOT dislike humans.

Maybe not, but her dislike of humans in general and horror at the thought of human babies should be enough to prevent her from falling in love so that doesn't fall into play. This isn't just mild dislike, either; Velanna's kind of a fanatic about it.Willowhugger wrote...
Yeah, but love isn't always rationale either.

And I agree that you can love the Dalish and not hate humans and she can come around to that...but elves romancing them is destroying her species.

And my single mage, who's into older gentlemen (and still harbors a secret crush on Loghain), would totally go for Seneschal Varel.
