In slightly more serious context, Nathaniel, Anders, Velanna, and Signrun are the obvious answers and for good reasons.  I'd totally have characters who could romance them. 

If we are talking about romancing characters in a completely non-sexual sense, then I want Justice.  I wouldn't want to sleep with him.  But have deep meaningful conversations and help him understand how mortals work and why life is worth living?  Completely and immediately.  He was by far my favorite companion (besides Varel WHY BIOWARE WHY) in Awakenings, and I liked most of the characters in Awakenings.

Yeah I don't know how I could forget him, maybe cause I was thinking companions only.. but Varel is one sexy man in every way imaginable.

...I'm glad I wasn't the only one more interested in Varel:whistle:

That's probably the wrong approach to take with her. Her oath to the Legion is what her entire sense of self-worth is based on. That's why she responds better to 'of course you're not betraying you're oath to the Legion as a GW!' You can still tell her you don't want her to die, though, and try to talk her out of it.

My Amell wouldn't have gone with anyone. She's already Alistair's 'consort' and quite frankly, one Warden is enough to deal with. At least Alistair shares her trollish tendencies.



Sidona, the Dalish elf mage from Orlais that I rolled (at least I'm assuming she's Dalish, she had Dalish tats IIRC) on the other hand, would have strapped Nate to a bed and told him to sit back and enjoy the ride. She was all over that. It was kind of weird how it got away from me.

Weird, I got the impression Velanna actually hates herself and is just barely above loathing the Dalish, she just overcompensates.  It comes out at times when she's talking about power, about stories, and so on.  Basically, Velanna seems to have come to the conclusion the Dalish are doomed and doesn't want to admit it.

I play so many mages that I can spare a few for him, anyway. We can grouse about the Circle's suckiness together...although my PCs love Dog as much as Anders loves the cat, and Dog will have to be convinced to not chew on Ser Pounce-A-Lot?

 Anders.Though my PC has biggest fireballs in Thedas and that might hurt his feelings.Their romance would be awesome: they both mages, they kill templars, they kill darkspawn, then Anders goes to Circle to do some lecturing, then he escapes from the Wardens and PC is emoing. Then he suddenly returns and they both go to the Weisshaupt Fortress on a new assignment. Anders+Andras+Anderfels=EPIC!
