offtopic with AMerican English/bad english:
god man.. samara's character was so ****ing dull and lame, better off keeping the first blue scientist t'soni chick. That "be one with the justicar goddess" **** was ugh...
even the cool krios character got annoyingly lame with his "be one with the spirits" crap...
definitely preferred Garrus+Miranda mainly (secular characters)...
MsEf3 should have Commando Hayzeus and all:innocent:

why the **** would they allow for a enemy robot to be a team mate onboard a ****ing ship? the whole point of the series/story got major inconsistence with the **** dude.Zanramon wrote...
Legion has no emotion so will get the job done no matter what.

I bet he was trying to figure out how we beat him as a Reaper or something, yet instantly transfered all his significant a.i. system data to the closest Geth that was out of harm's way or something. he's now going to use his observational information as ways to help upgrade the Geths and **** to specifically target me and ****. it's back to fighting more of these ****ers, that I fight alot already! Dammit!"<_< ... "Ceberus tricked me dammit... back to the Alliance Military with their new SR3, a giant stealth admiral starship/enterprise d-ish that carries stealth starfighters/combat ships/smaller SR1/2's!"
dude they should merge the geth and husk into a borg like character in the next one, replacing the Collectors.

I would think that Garrus would be a good spectre well mabey Kaidan depending, if you let him live, or not.. My reasoning is because Garrus is someone who wants to be above the law, and Spectres are above the law plus he is bad ass. Kaidan wants to help people in his own way, so he can help people by being a spectre plus him being a biotic makes him bad ass.

Garrus is to stuburn and renegade. He was pretty much the stupid teenager who wants to kill in the first game. and now he is the stupid adult who wants to kill in the second game.

Garrus is a former C-Sec Investigator, one of the best I think.
Ash is a frontline fighter, very capable of handling tough situations.
Mordin is a former STG Member, an excellent undercover Agent.

Something tells me that Garrus's new loyalty mission in ME3 would be to aid him in becoming a Spectre.
I mean, he himself said that he was considered to become a spectre (granted, as one of about a thousand possible recruits) but didn't go ahead with it because of his father.

How come nobody mentions the justicar? Samara almost killed Nihlus 1 on 1 and he escaped barely by using the code against her. For all we know she's the only one to challenge and make a Spectre flee. If anyone she has the skills to be a great Spectre, were she not bound by her justicar code.
Going by her background and conversation in game, she's not going to give up on the Code, ever. And that justicar code will get in the way of Spectre business.
She certainly has the skills, but the Code makes it impossible for Samara to be a Spectre. The episode with Nihlus illustrates that perfectly.

Other viable possibilities are Kaidan, Tali, Zaeed, Mordin and maybe Ash and Thane

Tali
Tali has literally no training in leading men. And also should have no combat skill she's a tech. And she's the second one to die randomly after mordin in the suicide mission. And BW based that off of their combat abilitys.

Jacob and Miranda may left Cerberus, but no way the council is going to trust them. They don't even trust Shepard who has to work with Cerberus just for a limited amount of time, why should they trust former operatives that claim to have left? Still I think Jacob as a fighter is the most close to Shepard. Why would Miranda recruit him for the Galaxy-story if she had more skill than him? I think at ME 2 he got a catastrophic adaptation. Reduced to a pistol/shotgun weak biotic made him pretty useless on higher difficulties. But gameplay and story are very different (see Jack alone and after joining Shep).
Ash/Kaiden are experienced and able enough to follow Shepard through ME 1. Both become operatives for the Alliance. I think their skills should not be underrated, although I also think there are better suited characters, I wouldn't doubt that those could get it done. They may not be Shepard, but except for Garrus, who could be as good?
Liara has developed through ME 1 and especially afterward. I am pretty sure she is very used to fighting now. She is a powerful biotic and smart. I doubt she needs asari commandos to get the job done (think back to her assistant=assassin and how easily she got rid of her). Her new business is a dangerous one and she is hunting a powerful enemy and so far she is alive. I wouldn't count her out just because you don't see her as a fighter.

Garrus, Jacob and Mordin are the best suited for a Spectre for reasons most people said before, however Mordin might be a too old for a Spectre.

She is a win at all cost, not evil at heart, but she is told. Capture this guy.
She will do it, no diplomacy or anything.....simple give me the name or you die. lol
She is no different than a spectre, she serves the code, well with Shepherd she served him above the code, but her code sill guided her way of thinking.

Ashley should be a spectre. Her hardness, willingness to never quit, and her personality would make her a good candidate.
Her being , skilled:ph34r: ,strong willed:police:, selfless:innocent:, blind:pinched:, arrogant:whistle:, emotional:crying:, irrational:wub:, misguided:(, prejudice:?, dumb:huh:, naive:unsure:, and hypocritical beyond normal bounds:devil:.
Yep the council would be delighted to see such an amazing resume.

She doesn't have the skill in a battle of attrition but she has recieved the best training the quarian military has to offer and had tons of expierence fighiting alongside Shepard. Leadership wise she;s not as bad as samara or grunt or jack, just not a top leader like Garrus.

Remember Shepherd went through spec ops, Garrus....well he has seen hell and more. Mordin was in the STG, Samara's training, Jacob's Corsair days, Thane's spy/assain training.
One thing she has never gone through is spec ops training.
Is like me saying I am better than a green beret, I might have received basic training, but spec ops have received a wholenother lv of training.
From Torture resistance, evade and capture, ambush and sabotage.
oooo I got it, she is a combat engineer. A smart infantry girl. there we go.

Her father got her the best training he could get. If you don't hug her on the loyalty mission she talks about it.
I know you kiss a picture of Tali before you go to bed at night, but honestly, she'd make a crappy Spectre.
