Male Shepards: Devon (Vanguard), Ethan (Infiltrator) and Martín (Sentinel). Why? I think they're cool names. Devon is my post Paragon Shepard, and the handsomest. He's so dreamy. 
Female Shepards: Simone (Adept), Leah (Engineer), and Ashley (Soldier). Why? Simone and Leah were selected just because they are nice names. I devised Ashley Shepard to be a ruthless b**** who would be seriously threatened by Ashley Williams. She's my most Renegade character. Do you think she went around scanning minerals? Not so much.

Jacque -- I typically go with the first letter of my name for characters, This character's name so happens to include my initals "JAC"que. Creative thinking on my part, I guess. And Jack would just be way too plain.

My ME1 import was named Shelley as I wanted to match the surname somewhat. I re-imported my ME1 Shepard for a second run and used a save editor to rename it Sharon.
