I'd rather not.
That movie never happened. NEVER HAPPENED!!
LOLs! Hey, to each his own, right?
And I was simply trying to explain the concept of AU, since some folks were trying very hard to figure out where exactly the story in this new DLC would fit in the "canon" story...
OK, can someone please explain to me how, in this world with so many possibilities, so many different choices and different outcomes, can there be a "canon" story? I understand that even in Awakening your choices are taken into consideration (well, except if your Warden chose the US and you still wish to import that character, then it's assumed that there was no US... although I think I read a post somewhere on here with a quite a valid point, I found - if your Warden decided the US, then that would be the end of the story for that particular character, and so you either have an option of starting the Awakening story as an Orlesian Warden or choose to import a different character/ending from Origins).
So, yeah, have been trying to grasp the concept of "canon" in the Origins universe.

If it was an alternate point of view then I'd consider it acceptable, this however is just a "what if" scenario without the Warden, seems a bit pointless to me.
Pointless? It's a story.

Am I the only one who would have been way happier with another item pack (like Feast Day Gifts & Pranks), but with weapons and armor?
EDIT/NOTE: I mean quality full sets of weapons and armor

I rather would have seen an announcement regarding a patch, though. Just saying.

Anyway, I wanted to b***h and moan about the bugs and such, but I think I'll shut up this time. Darkspawn idea might be okay and kinda original after all(yes I am aware of the mods)
Still, a DLC that would extend/enhance/edit/enchant/add new/whatever current companion quests and their romance would be better indeed.

Here you see how opinions can be different....
I think weapon and armor DLC is nothing but a cheap way to get the money of MMO-addicts who crave to get the best equipment.
Of course, Dragon Age needs better-looking armor, but modders do a great job at providing those already.

The Orlesian Warden was poorly executed: what it should have been is being a way to re-enter the world after your original warden sacrificed himself, what we got was a non-customisable default state of Ferelden. A simple explanation as to why the Origins Warden was alive again would even have been enough.
BioWare, I understand that the whole Morrigan's god baby story has the most potential for a sequel (or two), but please don't pretend that the Ultimate Sacrifice ending never happened.

It's kind of like It's a Wonderful Life for Dragon Age.
After a decision went very poorly costing many lives our Grey Warden sits all despondant wondering wether or not we've truly made a positive impact on this world.
Along comes Clarence the helpful fade spirit to show us what the world would be like if we hadn't existed.
And we get to see it from the DarkSpawn's point of view.
This is going to be a hack and slash blast!
I just hope the Hurlock Vanguard can cast spells!
