Maybe once more light will be shed on it, my mind will change. Or maybe not.

The whole battle and killing kind of thing: seen many games that did that part way better. I will buy again if you guys eventually return to what make DA unique and worth playing for countless hours in the first place. But just some blood spilling and killing has no appeal to me, as well as slaying the characters i spent so many hours with and cherished so much ? Sorry, not me, will take my money elsewhere.

I play this game for party interaction. Grunting hurlocks in a hack n' slash that adds nothing to the Origins story is of little interest.

Sorry for being late to the party and I'm sure this has been asked before but I'll ask it anyway. How the hell does this work? Do we choose to start if from the game's main menu? Do we need to load the save of DAO and as the warden go to the world map where upon visiting a place the fabric of time and space gets torn to pieces and the past changed? What level of game advancement will we need in order to start playing this DLC? Etc. etc. etc. This makes little sense at the moment.
I've wondered about that as well.
If this is a different campaign that we access from the main menu, a la Awakening, and isn't tied to a particular character's campaign, will the items be available to all of our characters? Or will we need to load a character, somehow access the content from camp or the keep and replay it for each toon we want to have access to the items?
How do we load it? How does it work with existing characters? How do the items work?
You would load it the same way you would Awakenings - go to the Other Campaigns on the Main Menu. This DLC is a standalone campaign that has NO relation to your main Origins campaign. Whatever you do in Darkspawn Chronicles will not alter the storyline in any of your play-throughs.
The only tiny exception to this is that a new weapon will be introduced to the inventory in Origins - where it will appear, we don't know yet. However, from what Chris said, this badass weapon will carryover to Awakenings.

I love the DA game, and I will happily admit I am a fanboy, but this complete ignorance from you devs in regards to the serious problems on the 360 version is disgusting! Please fix the game so we can continue to enjoy it, surely that's not too big of a thing to ask?

Why, why, why are you releasing new DLC when you have not fixed the xbox 360 version of the game!?

Surely you haven't played Two Worlds on the 360

. You will encounter characters from Dragon Age: Origins both party members like Alistair or Morrigan (for example) and NPCs who try to defend Denerim and stop the Darkspawn without your Grey Warden to guide them. As the darkspawn, you will have to defeat them to destroy Denerim.

I'm totally on the side of giving new quests and such --- but we also need to be understanding that it is hard/expensive to round up all the voice actors again if they want to make a true extension to the game.Cell1e wrote...

This is more like a snack cake. Eat it and enjoy it if you wish, or wait for Dragon Age 2 early next year for a full meal. Your call.

In some ways yes, however, as alot of the fan made mods have shown, it's not that hard for a company that has money to make something like this, when normal players can make imo better content then almost all the dlc dragon age has had from bioware.Rive Caedo wrote...

I don't see myself picking this up. Hopefully the next DLC is coming soon after and will deliver on the promise of adding content that expands the main story. That was one of the big selling points for the game to begin with.

I thought it was just PS3 folks having trouble with the Sony firmware update, and PC folks having trouble not transfering their blood powers from Warden's Keep DLC into Awakening and other 1.03 issues.
360 folks are seriously having trouble too?

Have you forgotten 2011-02?? This has been promised. Dragon Age 2. There is more than one dev team at Bioware working on DA projects. Why can't people wrap their minds around that? Some teams are working on DLC's, another on the new patch and yet another group on DA2. Do you honestly think there is only one team cranking out all of these products within a matter of mere months???

Well. I guess we can call us PC players lucky then? We at least have community modders fixing all our bugs!
