I don't think i'll be buying this one, as much as I love Dragon Age, I don't think this is the right direction, I think I'll just wait for DA:2

Agreed, I love DA:O, but I didn't buy awakenings and won't buy be buying this either.. Glad the forums are here it has saved me from wasting money by buying something blind, before learning about a new dlc first.

Well the fact they brought this out instead of a fix for the patch and other problems is good indication one is NOT coming, nor do they see the need. Bioware is not getting another nickle from me until they do. That goes for any future bioware titles also. This is probably a tool they used to test da:o before launch and they decided to add content and sell it.

yeah, I wish I had waited to see about Awakening before buying. No more buying blind for me either.
I've pretty much lost my faith in Bioware. Shame too, they were the best for so long, oh well guess they had to fail sooner or later. For those still blindly loyal, I hope the new dlc is no more than $5.00.... But I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be like $40.00 or so.

Seriously buying anything blind is just bad idea do your research that your job as consumer. if you think you going to find dlc for 5.00 good luck only thing you find that cheap is custom pack. bioware is currently doing 3 AAA projects so im not really suprise dragon age is not being patch right away

WTF do you mean "right away". It has been over six months and the useless ****ing money grubbing ****s have not even bothered to fix any of the bugs that came with DA:O for the Xbox on release day! And yet, they can ****ing patch a PS3 problem in two weeks. **** BW!

This is precisley why it annoys me so much because Bioware refuses to indicate if they're in the process of making a new patch or not. For some reason, they choose not to say "yes" or "no" - which I don't understand why.

What part of "We're working on it" don't you understand ?

Agreed, they've been giving us that line for six months and no fixes, not to mention the only time we see them in the forums is when they need us to buy dlc or vote for them. The fact that they've said the same thing for months, then never produced any fixes makes me think it's all just PR to get us to buy more stuff. Just saying "we're working on it" so buy our dlc and maybe we'll give you some fixes just doesn't cut it after six months, especially when they still haven't given us any real fixes and always seem to disappear again after the dlc is released.Wicked 702 wrote...

That's not the problem. The problem is that they said the same thing last month......and a month before that......and a month before that, etc. etc. At what point do you back up and say, "Wait a minute. I call BS!" If Bioware truly cared about support, they would take all those people creating new content and put them to work on the issues this game has had since launch. We're not whining two weeks down the road here. THIS IS SIX MONTHS! Do you get that? Can you read it? Six months! That's completely insane.
All you have to do is look in that thread you linked and 100's of others to see that many many people have reached the end of their patience. And rightly so. The "don't worry, just be patient, they'll fix it" mentality might have held some weight at one point but now.....are you serious?
