after the battle in the inn at lothering my game takes about an hour to get through picking up Lilianna.
after ending the curse of the werewolves, it takes another hour to get through the humans leaving the lair.
in my dwarf commoner run i have yet to get past the proving arena, because it takes to long and i just give up in frustration.
dont tell me about your new DLC premium content, but tell me when your going to fix whats already broken.

It is also obviously clear why there isn't a new patch ready.
Sure, blame the DLC team for the patch team taking its time to make sure they really have bugs fixed...
Indeed. people that are whining about a patch in this thread are idiots and should take their questions to the appropriate forum called: technical support (platform) .
Having issues with bugs and patches is fine but stop whining and complain in the right forum
Lol
It's called allocation of resources and prioritization.
It determines HOW much people, resources and attention you dedicate to an issue.
Patch 1.03 came out March 9, Awakening came March 16.
First acknowledgement that they are “gathering information...” for a new patch came April 9, 1 month after 1.03.
And now 2 month after patch 1.03 there are still no fixes. In the meantime a lot of the issues have been fixed by modders, so a lot of issues are not that difficult to fix. Strange that Bioware haven't been able to do it.
What we know that Bioware have been working on since March 9 is the Bazaar, the Feastday, the Darkspawn chronicles and of cause DA:2.
Could they have fixed most of the the problems in 2 months? Of cause they could, they just have to prioritize it.

I can't even make a renegade choice in ME2, or choose a non-friendly option in DA:O So how the hell will I be able to make it to the end of this module?
I'll have to put my nasty hat or something, but I don't know. I'll feel guilty about five seconds in I think and never play it again. :-( BUT DAMMIT I HAVE TO TRY!!!

On the other hand ... he and his group have made it to the final battle. He can't have done that badly.bl00drequiem wrote...
I have to say, I do find it rather amusing that the we get this whole HOLY CRAP THE WORLD IS ENDING!!! scenario if Alistair is left in charge. It seems he was right, I wonder if in the end he'll find himself in the woods somewhere not wearing pants as he mentioned

Think of this adventure as your adventure, but YOU were never around to take part. Dragon Age: Origins was always the tale of the Grey Warden you created and how he or she became the mightiest of Grey Wardens and stopped the Blight. This adventure takes place as if your Grey Warden had never existed.
You play as a hurlock vanguard and use your new "Enthrall" ability to recruit your fellow darkspawn as allies. Partner with shrieks, genlocks, ogres and more. You will encounter characters from Dragon Age: Origins both party members like Alistair or Morrigan (for example) and NPCs who try to defend Denerim and stop the Darkspawn without your Grey Warden to guide them. As the darkspawn, you will have to defeat them to destroy Denerim.
If you choose to play Darkspawn Chronicles you can unlock 3 new achievements and, if you complete the story, you unlock the powerful new BlightBlood sword that you can use in Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Origins Awakening.
The Darkspawn Chronicles costs 400 BioWare or Microsoft points and will be available on May 18 for the PC and Xbox 360 and on the Playstation 3 with date to be announced shortly.
Is it ALWAYS going to be like this for the PS3? Let's not forget the disastrous delays you guys made with RtO, and lets not forget that the PS3 version of DA is unplayable. Way to stand up for your PS3 followers!

It's not like Bioware is consciously trying to screw one third of their target platforms, do they ?

I'd rather he say date to be announced then giving us an actual date. Who knows maybe they're waiting for Sony to fix the firmware problem, maybe they're waiting to fix the bugs on DA games, maybe they're trying to fix the bugs on this new DLC, or maybe they're just complete A-holes. Don't know and I really don't care as long as they don't promise anything specific like RTO was and have it backtracked.

Well, blame Sony for the delays and the firmware upgrade that breaks several games out there ?

Im not going to go slinging blame around like a monkey, but its not biowares fault this time for the ps3 issues sony loves to use us as beta tester witch i hate them for it. But what is biowares fault are the bugs and framerate issues with the original game and the DLC glitches for vigilence and sentinel armor on awakening for xbox and ps3. But owell what can you do right?

Yes, lets enjoying having so many game breaking bugs that we buy even more DLC thats game breaking and bugged too. Let's pile it all on so I can't even play the game anymore, that sounds like a fun experience. Maybe I'll hit level 10 this time, how exciting. Oh, or how about another bug that prevented me from even getting to the point of hitting the camp for the first time? **** yeah I'll buy this DLC so I can't even play it!
So if i said I can get through an entire playthrough with some problems but no gamebreaking ones (at least nothing I could find a way past) and also that I have NO clue what your talking about even though I have all the DLC plus awakening would that ****** people off?
I guess it's actually really bad for some people O_o

It is difficult for me to get excited about this new DLC based on former DLCs. For instance, Warden's Keep is still messing up Awakenings stuff and not fixed. RtO was okay but the patch messed up the game. Awakenings had several problems that I was able to get around but required lots of reloading the game. At one point I finally restarted the game with a Warden from Orlais, and she still can't wear the proper looking Sentinel Armor. Feast day stuff was meh but I bought it anyway. I am still hoping that they would put the rest of Blackblade armor in as well. I think I will wait and see if they fix some things before I buy, even if it is only $5. Unlike the PC users I cannot put on a bandaid.

Me, too, I suspect. I've gone from thinking, "Oh, clever twist" - which it is - to doubting I'll really be able to kill off the gang, particularly flowers and satin shoes Leli. But I know curiosity will get the better of me.
